A few weeks ago we launched something really special, our Parenting with Neurodiversity in Mind program 💛

As we come towards the tail end of this round, we’ve been reflecting on what a privilege it has been to connect with and support such a diverse range of families through these conversations and shared learning experiences.

This work is something we are incredibly passionate about, and we’re so excited to share that we’ll be offering the program again later this year in partnership with Ngala and Connection WA

Stay tuned for upcoming dates and details 🌿

It was such a privilege to spend time with the team at exploring sensory processing and self-regulation in school environments.

There is something incredibly powerful about working alongside educators who are so deeply committed to learning, reflecting and continually strengthening the way they support children and young people.

The openness, curiosity and values-driven approach of the team created such a thoughtful and engaging space for conversation. We explored how sensory experiences can impact participation, learning, wellbeing and regulation, while also discussing practical ways schools can create more responsive and inclusive environments for all students.

We are always so grateful to connect with teams who genuinely care about building school communities where every child feels understood, supported and able to thrive. 💛

Such a special moment spotting our Reflection Toolkit, developed in collaboration with Australia , sitting within the family support services collection at Dordaak Kepup Library through the City of Wanneroo . 💛

There is something incredibly meaningful about seeing resources created with care, collaboration and community in mind being shared out in the world and accessible to the people and services who may benefit from them.

We are so grateful for opportunities to work alongside organisations who are equally passionate about reflection, inclusion and building more supportive communities for children and families.

Thank you to everyone helping make these resources visible, accessible and part of ongoing conversations in the community.

A few coffee cups, fidgets, laptops and lots of big conversations ☕💭

As Neurominded continues to grow, we know how important it is to intentionally pause, reflect and reconnect with the values that sit at the heart of our work.

This week, our team spent time thinking deeply about the bigger picture: the kind of communities we want to help create, the impact we hope to have, and how we continue to ensure our work remains grounded in inclusion, accessibility and belonging.

Growth is exciting, but we never want to lose sight of why we started. Every conversation, partnership and project comes back to a shared commitment to creating communities where all people feel valued, understood and supported. 💛

Still reflecting on this incredibly meaningful session with the team City of Mandurah on valuing diversity and creating inclusive communities.

A huge shout out to our lived experience panel, Maddy, Ash and Nat, for the honesty, vulnerability and insight they brought to the conversation. Sharing personal experiences takes courage, and their voices created such a powerful opportunity for reflection, learning and connection.

We are so grateful to the incredible team at City of Mandurah for creating space for these important conversations within their community and for their ongoing commitment to inclusion, belonging and accessibility.

Sessions like these are such a strong reminder that inclusive communities are built when we listen deeply, value different perspectives and make space for every person to feel seen, heard and respected. 💛

📆10th June: Child-Centred Behaviour Support

We’ll be unpacking the why behind behaviour, moving beyond surface-level responses to really understand what children are communicating.

Together, we’ll explore the differences between traditional behaviour support approaches and more child-centred, affirming frameworks, and what this shift can look like in practice.

It’s not about managing behaviour. It’s about understanding children.

If this sounds like something you or your team would value, we’d love you to join us. And please share with anyone who might benefit 💛
