Congratulations to all our Oh Do Kwan members who took part in the Poomsae Segment of the State Championships on Saturday. Special thanks to all Oh Do Kwan Referees and Volunteers who helped ATWA make it a successful Championships, finishing over 1 hour ahead of schedule, great effort. Congratulations to our medal winners and coaches who contributed to Oh Do Kwan being Champion Club.

Oh Do Kwan Dan grading took place on Sunday 21st April. Congratulations to the 60 Successful Participants for Dan Grading. Special congratulations to the 1x 6th Dan and 8 x 4th Dans who succesfully passed their respective gradings. It is signifigant that over the last six months we have had some 200 members pass various Dan Grades, well done to all our instructors and students in ensuring that our club continues to grow.

Happy womens day to all women around the world but especially to our Oh Do Kwan women, everyday is a womens day in our club. We are Happy to say we have a huge amount of females in our club, this has been the case since the 80's and our female instructors outnumber our male instructors and do a fantastic job. Among our female members we have the highest ranked Taekwondo female in Australia, GrandMaster Carmela Hartnett 9th Dan (A national and International Champion), Grandmaster Jenny Crutchett 8th Dan (Paralympic Referee) Grandmaster Anita Tippet 8th Dan (Numerous times Australian National team manager). Our club is richer for their and all our other female members. We also have many other incredible female masters from 4th - 7th Dan that teach or train.
Happy womens day to all other females in Taekwondo. Taekwondo would be less if you were not all involved.
