Bit of work tidying up Mistreatedā€™s engine bay. Another visit to the machine shop tomorrow to check on progress of the motor. Getting keen to get her back together now for the upcoming season. I will be pulling back a bit more this season and giving James some more seat time but will still run the bigger comps.

Hey guys I know itā€™s been a while but with the wet weather and one busted and unhappy Mistreated thereā€™s not much happening. Mistress is tucked up in bed waiting for some warmer weather. Hopefully be taking here to Collie in September for their comp.

Hereā€™s some work weā€™ve been doing on Mistreatedā€™s engine bay. For ages Iā€™ve hated the shiny bit of tin on the passengers side so while the engine is out and getting fixed up I thought Iā€™d have a crack at making it look a bit better.

This is not the result we wanted from the new motor. Looks like the oil filter failed and blocked off the return which caused the loss of oil pressure in Mistreated. Guess itā€™s time to try again. The crank should clean up ok so should be able replace bearings and rebuildšŸ¤žafter a good clean out
