MerakiGypsy Helping women to reframe the way they speak to themselves, allowing women to fully reconnect to themselves and build that self trust 🌀

I’m not here to tell you the hard emotions are going to disappear.

So when the kids are fighting, the house is loud, you’re touched out, you feel a bit behind on the washing and one more thing tips you over…

You can catch yourself sooner!!

Reframe the story before it becomes:
“I’m a s**t mum.”
“I can’t cope.”
“I’ve ruined the whole day.”
“I’m not cut out for motherhood”

The goal isn’t to never spiral.

It’s to not let one hard moment turn into a full day of beating the s**t out of yourself like you’ve been in the boxing ring with Mike Tyson.

Some days it’s just evidence that you had a full fu***ng day. That doesn’t need to become a story about who you are.You d...

Some days it’s just evidence that you had a full fu***ng day.

That doesn’t need to become a story about who you are.
You don’t have to judge your whole life from one messy corner of it.

Sometimes the work is simply catching yourself before “I didn’t get to everything” turns into “I’m failing.”

This is why I’m doing a FREE 5-day reconnect with yourself challenge! For the busy mums who feel like they are constantly pouring into everyone else and never do anything for themselves.

Making steps an early win to start the day changed how I feel starting the morning.
Helps stack wins at the start of the day and also no excuses can impact creating those wins.

This morning was such a good reminder that progress is not always the thing you can photograph. Sometimes it is the way you speak to yourself, the way you interrupt an old pattern, and how quickly you come back to yourself

I could feel myself starting to spiral.

•Looking at my stomach.
• Looking at my body.
• Looking for proof that the last 75 days had “worked.”

Then I caught myself because if my best friend sent me those exact photos and said: “I barely changed.”
There is no way I would agree with her!

I would remind her:
• body has carried 3 babies.
• Showed up for yourself for 75 days.
• Got stronger.
• moved your body everyday.
• Started making different choices to better your health.
• Did the difficult things even when you’d rather sleep in.

You created habits that you should be so freaken proud of!

That made me realise something: why was I so willing to give her compassion, perspective and encouragement but not myself?

Because the biggest change wasn’t necessarily what I could see in the photos; it was everything that had started to feel normal.

Showing up for myself, moving my body, being more conscious of what I put into it, catching the spiral quicker and not abandoning myself the second an old thought showed up.

Maybe that is the part we miss.
We look for visible proof that we have changed, while completely overlooking the fact that our patterns have changed.

Not look dramatically different, but the woman living inside it feels fu***ng different and so I realised

The win is not that the old thought never comes back, the win is:
• you catch it faster.
• you speak to yourself differently.
• you come back to yourself sooner.
