We had the most amazing day out today!
14 of our young riders were extremely lucky to be able to take part in a trip to Valley Equine Veterinary Centre where Dr Paula, Dr Eve and Tam showed them a wide range of investigations including a gastroscope, X-rays, ultrasound, dental exam and let the kids listen to the horses heart and for gut sounds.
They learnt lots of valuable things which they will take home and it will help them care for their own ponies.
Then we had a trip to Pony Club HQ to meet the team in the office, Tanya, Lou and Jackie, who were busily getting ready for State Dressage Champs and to finish the day off it was a trip to the Margaret River Chocolate Factory!

And to the riders who are mums to their horses and ponies too — thank you for the love, care, patience, early mornings, feed runs, cuddles, and special bond you share with your four-legged babies. 🐴🤍
