The one that got away! Ran over by a boat and snapped off!! Guess that's what happens when everyone is fishing ontop of each other. Haven't had a chance for a Salmon fish in many years so was hoping to get Dex his first onboard. Fingers crossed they might come metro for him to snag his opportunity. Good Fun!

With these disproportionate Demersal bans in place our fave sustainability caught fish we love to enjoy as a family are off the menu, the last portions ageing like antique trophies in the freezer....

This TUNA from the weekend is going to be turned into a few different dinners, however not overly confident the kids will enjoy this one since they like to point out eating the stuff from the tin smells like catfood!

Any tips for some not so overpowering recipes for this one welcome!

🐟🐟 Last few days to sign the Petition to SAVE WA FISHING 🐟🐟

Government overreach, no real evidence presented and no document to state that they will reopen in 2027 as announced.

If you eat fish, enjoy the water, enjoy fishing, the outdoors or just enjoy any type of freedom in what once was this free country YOU NEED to show your support in pushing back for a full parliamentary enquiry.

It's been an emotional and bitter pill to swallow (especially for Dex) when the announcement was made a week before season was due to open, knowing what we and every fisho does about the reality of fish stocks - so we are asking for as much support we can get

Definitely not a Liberal supporter by all means but good to see the politicians come and listen to the concerns and have our back. Like Basil said this morning Government don't like pressure (like Albos failed hate speech bill)

Sign the petition to get a parliamentary inquiry. Any rec fisher will tell you snapper and dhufish are aplenty and at absolutely no threat of extinction... We tried to catch herring the other week and got smashed by snapper!!!... all we want to see is the evidence and science!

Must be an alterior motive here? 🤔
