“You’re so lucky to live in Australia.”

That’s probably the sentence I’ve heard the most over the last 8 years.

What people don’t see are the birthdays missed, the visa stress, the uncertainty, the friends who leave, the family moments watched through a screen, and the constant feeling that everything you’ve built could disappear overnight.

They see the result.

They don’t see the years of sacrifice, uncomfortable decisions, rejection, hard work and perseverance behind it.

Australia gave me opportunities.

But building a life here wasn’t luck.

It was a choice I kept making, over and over again.

And despite everything, I’d still choose it today. 🇦🇺❤️

So I stopped waiting for the perfect moment.

I wanted to build a physique I was proud of.
So I built the mindset that came with it.

I wanted to become the woman I admired.
So I started acting like her.

From biotechnology labs to Australian mines… and finally back to coaching. ❤️

If you had told me a few years ago that I would work in laboratories, manage restaurants, build solar panels, work alongside welders and mechanics, and eventually become a rigger in the Australian mining industry, I probably wouldn’t have believed you.

Like many people, I thought I needed to find the “right path” straight away.

The truth is, every job taught me something.

🔬 Biotechnologies taught me discipline and attention to detail.
🍽️ Hospitality taught me how to work under pressure and connect with people.
👩‍💼 Management taught me leadership and responsibility.
☀️ Solar farms taught me patience and consistency.
🔧 Industrial work taught me resilience and adaptability.
⛏️ Mining taught me accountability, safety, and performing in demanding environments.

None of these experiences were wasted.

They all helped shape the coach I am today.

Because coaching isn’t just about training and nutrition. It’s about understanding people, adapting to challenges, staying consistent when things get hard, and helping others move forward.

Sometimes, the path that looks the least direct ends up teaching you the most.

And looking back, I wouldn’t change a thing. ❤️
