For our Wellness Round, we were lucky enough to catch up with Emily Hamilton, Member for Joondalup, to chat about something that matters far beyond the basketball court — wellbeing and looking after each other.

Sport is about so much more than scores, wins and losses. It’s about belonging, friendship, confidence, connection and having a community around you when you need it most.

A huge thank you to Emily for taking the time to have this important conversation with us and for supporting our club and our Wellness Round initiative.

We’re halfway through our Marlins Wellness Round, and we’re excited to see our teams get involved over the coming days with their temporary tattoos on display!

This week is all about looking after ourselves, checking in on each other and remembering that being strong doesn’t mean doing everything alone.

💬 Check in with a teammate, friend or family member
😊 Spread a little kindness
💙 Get involved in our wellness challenges

🍩 And don’t forget our Do-Nut Worry Krispy Kreme collection days for those that ordered is Friday evening and Saturday morning in the Wolves den at Joondalup Arena. We may have a few extra boxes to sell on the days, with all profit going towards more clinics for our members through A Stitch in Time!
