WHY CONSISTENCY MATTERS FOR KIDS

Like anything, the more consistently they practice, the more they get out of their Muay Thai classes.

🥊 Developing skills & technique
Repetition is important. Training consistently helps the basics stick, allowing kids to learn new techniques and progress much faster.

🤝 Making friends
The more they come to class, the more comfortable they become with their training partners. They build friendships, find people they enjoy partnering with and generally have a lot more fun at training.

💪 Fitness & conditioning
Muay Thai is hard work! Even for little kids. The more consistently they train, the fitter and stronger they become. Training starts to feel easier and they can focus more on learning and enjoying themselves.

📈 Keeping their progress moving
Long gaps between sessions can mean going back over things they've already learned. Consistency keeps the momentum going and allows them to keep building on their skills.

⭐ Confidence & discipline
As kids see themselves improving, their confidence grows. Regular training also teaches them the value of routine, commitment and putting in the work to get better.

📅 We understand every family's schedule is different, but if you can get them here 3 times a week, we highly recommend it. Of course, any training is better than no training, but the biggest thing is keeping it consistent from week to week.

👉 Also do your best to avoid stopping and starting their training. Long breaks and inconsistent attendance can really slow their progress and affect their motivation to come to class. When kids are training regularly, they improve, feel more confident and generally enjoy their Muay Thai a lot more.

The difference consistency makes over time is huge.

Keep showing up. Keep learning. Keep improving. 🥊

The works been done, the stones turned, the bricks laid, and these three Monsters are ready to put on a show in centre ring this Saturday night! 🦍 🦍 🦍

All three will be representing Monsters Inc Muay Thai this Saturday on EMPIRE: UK vs Australia 🇦🇺🇬🇧

They’ve worked hard throughout camp and now trust falls upon their preparation and it’s time to put it all together when they step into the ring.

Great fights by the girls last weekend on DDD! Unfortunately taking home no wins but both girls put in a show.

The team is growing this year with a lot of new fighters coming through the ranks, we are gaining experience and getting stronger as a whole, it’s great to see them all supporting each other at every fight! Both girls have fights coming up again in 4 weeks time so it’s back to the gym to work towards the next one.

Georgia has been fighting back to back all year and with a last minute opponent change she’s back on for this weekend to keep the roll going!

Tia has become a whole new fighter over the past few months training consistently week after the week and we are excited to see her put all that hard work into action this weekend!

"Do Kids & Teens classes still run through the school holidays?"

We get asked this every school holidays... and the answer is YES! 👊

Our Kids & Teens classes continue as normal throughout the holidays.

In fact, we think it's a great time for kids to train. Without the after-school rush, it's much easier for parents to get their kids to class on time. We see the holidays as the perfect opportunity to get a few extra quality sessions in!

We hope to see the classes full over the next two weeks! 💙🥊
