Tough night last weekend on Empire Fight Series but it wasn’t all doom and gloom.
First we had two boys having their first development fights. Both boys did great Nate coming away with a loss and Sam coming away with an incredible victory! Sam is one of our FIFO boys who trains in our morning classes and night classes. It can’t be easy preparing for a fight while working away and Sam is one of those boys who’s committed and got the job done! Proud of your work Sam 💪
Next up we had 3 pros. Noah suffered a loss via body shots in the third round. We were just looking for improvement for Noah there was no pressure on winning this fight we purely wanted to work on some specific bad habits that’s been holding him back and see him improve on that which is what we saw in the first two rounds in which he won but then in the third he was caught with a well placed teep to the body which he struggled to recover from and then after one my body shot the ref waived it off.. Im proud of what we got to see in the first 2 rounds and looking forward to seeing what comes next for Noah.
Paris had a tough fight which was hard for all of us to navigate over the 5 rounds. I’m not gonna make any excuses Michaela bought her A-game and was strong and well prepared nothing but respect to their team and congratulations on your victory. Paris will be back this is just a bump in the road nothing she hasn’t overcome before the team stand by you with unconditional love and support 👸
Nelly Laki had a dominant win. He came out strong, confident and relaxed and i’m really proud of his performance, through his camp we worked on his mind set and overall ring presence which he carried through into the ring and over the whole fight. This win meant a lot to him and Nelly you deserve it great work out there!! time to see what comes next for the Black Panther!
