Congratulations to all of our players selected to represent at this weekend’s NSW State Championships.

A huge achievement for each and every one of you, your hard work, dedication, and commitment to the game continues to make our club proud.

Go out there and show everyone what Penrith is made of. Represent yourselves, your families, and the Penrith RSL Silverbacks with pride both on and off the field.

Exciting time for junior rugby in Western Sydney

🏉 The Western Sydney Schools Rugby Championship officially kicks off tomorrow — Wednesday 3 June!

This competition will run across 8 weeks and feature 10 CHS schools from across Western Sydney competing in:
• U14s
• U16s
• U18s
• Girls U16s
• Girls U18s

Participating schools:
🏫 Airds High School
🏫 Rooty Hill High School
🏫 Colo High School
🏫 Hawkesbury High School
🏫 Hornsby High School
🏫 Windsor High School
🏫 Epping Boys High School
🏫 Chifley College Bidwill
🏫 Richmond High School
🏫 Mitchell High School

Over the past 8 weeks, development officers have been working closely with schools to prepare teams through preseason programs, with matches to be played Wednesdays from 1–3pm on a home-and-away basis.

The momentum is already building, with additional schools expressing interest in joining the competition in 2027.

NSW Rugby is calling on the wider rugby community:

📣 If you’re interested in volunteering as a coach or referee, now is the perfect time to help shape the next generation of Western Sydney rugby.

Hopefully the weather clears up and all our teams get the chance to take the field… although we know plenty of the kids wouldn’t mind a muddy run around 😅💚💛

There’s nothing better than junior rugby — cold mornings, muddy boots, big smiles, and making memories with your teammates.
