Congratulations Hannah on your 1st grade Waratah debut yesterday between Penrith Rovers and Lowlands.

It was a tough match and Hannah handled it really well. She had help from her assistants Oliver and Charlotte. Well done all on controlling this 1st grade fixture.

Waratah and Ruby looks exciting for 2027 with many referees coming through the ranks.⚽️👌👏

Waratah this weekend had two of our young referees make their debut in reserve grade with Izaac and Owen both doing really well in their very first reserve grade fixtures. Thank you to senior referees Nik and Anthony who were there to guide them with assistant referees Xavier and Ryan.

Well done to you both and we look forward to you continuing your journey in the premier league competition. ⚽️⚽️👌

Tonight marks a significant celebration for our current NRG President Phil Macdonald who has decided to step down from officiating Waratah First Grade fixtures following tonight's game between Penrith FC and Penrith Rovers.

Phil has been refereeing Waratah League for at least the last six years and is a well respected figure among players, coaches and clubs. Phil officiated the 2022 Grand Final and was awarded the Senior Referee of the Year that year.

We will still see Phil on the field officiating senior games and mentoring both junior and senior referees.

Congratulations on a stellar first grade career!
