Mestre Borracha, 💔 Words cannot express my gratitude for you being my capoeira teacher. I feel so blessed to have been taught this beautiful art form and culture by you. It doesn’t feel real to be saying good bye to you, i never in a million years envisioned my capoeira journey without you by my side guiding me
My heart goes out to you as I reflect on the incredible impact you’ve had on my life and the lives of so many others. Your passion for capoeira was infectious, and your kindness, humility, and generosity have inspired me in ways that words cannot express.
I’ll never forget the way you embodied the spirit of capoeira, with every movement, every note, and every smile. You made this beautiful art form come alive, and I’m so grateful to have been one of your students. Your teaching went far beyond the physical movements – you instilled in us a sense of community, respect, and love.
And, Mestre, your humour! It was like a breath of fresh air, always arriving at the perfect moment to break the tension and bring us back to the present. Your ability to turn a serious situation into a lighthearted one, to make us laugh when we needed it most, is a gift that we’ll always treasure.
Your presence will be deeply missed, but I take comfort in knowing that your legacy will live on through the countless lives you’ve touched. Your spirit will continue to inspire and guide us, and I’ll carry your memory with me on my own capoeira journey.
