Born in Scotland, raised in Nigeria, West Africa, I worked in Advertising, and Recruitment in Edinburgh and New York before giving it all up to raise my 3 children. During those early years mothering I developed a keen interest in Alternative Medicine and went on to study Kinesiology, Reiki and Metamorphic technique. In 2003 my husband was made redundant from "The City" and we left London to trave
l around the World with our children aged 7,4 and 5 months. A year later we returned to Scotland where we lived for 2 years before embarking upon another adventure to live in Australia. In 2007 I began my studies in Indigenous Studies @ Southern Cross University and completed my Masters Degree in 2009. I have also completed training in basic non-violent communication, Laughter Yoga and Living Brave with Brene Brown. I am currently enrolled in The Martha Beck Life Coaching program. In 2013 I created a program called the Belonging Project (Belonging Program on Facebook) which educates primary school children on Emotional Intelligence using Aboriginal Circle work. In 2014 I worked for Breakway Art under the auspices of the Royal Flying Doctors in a remote Aboriginal Community in Cape York. Sadly my father died a year later. I was too unwell to return to Scotland to attend either of their funerals. My recovery from this illness (I was diagnosed with Spotted Tick fever in 2012) has been due to the re-wiring of my brain (faulty limbic system) which was hardwired during my childhood. In 2016 my family and I became Australian citizens and we live on a pecan farm in the hinterland behind Byron Bay, Australia.
