This Saturday, one of our favourite club characters, Mitch Willmott, takes the plunge as Paynesville FNC’s representative in the 2026 Bairnsdale Big Freeze! 🧊🔥

Mitch will be sliding to help raise vital funds in the fight against MND, supporting a cause that impacts far too many Australian families.

But you don’t have to wait until Saturday to get involved…

From tonight through to Friday:

💙 RESULTS & AWARDS - ROUND 7 💙

A tough day at the office, but not one without lessons.

As we approach the halfway point of the season, we’re loving seeing the growth, the learnings so far and the opportunities ahead 👊

Across football and netball, the first seven rounds have provided plenty of valuable experiences that will help shape the second half of our season.

There have been challenges, there have been positives, and there has been plenty of progress. Now it’s about resetting, refreshing and attacking the second half of the year with purpose 🔥

TOMORROW NIGHT 🤩

🏐 Netball Sports Trainer & Strapping Workshop 🏐

Keeping our players fit, safe and supported is our number one priority.

As our netball program continues to grow, we are currently short on volunteers to assist with basic strapping and player support across all grades.

We are calling on parents, players, supporters and community members to help us build a game-day support roster for the remainder of the season.

With thanks to Libby Selleck, Myotherapist, owner of BodyWorx Massage and Myotherapy Paynesville and valued club sponsor, we are running a practical, hands-on workshop to help provide volunteers with the confidence and basic skills to support our players.

⏰ 6:00pm – 8:00/8:30pm
📍 PFNC Clubrooms

✉️ RSVP Saturday 30th May via your coach/ DM club page

The workshop will cover:
✔️ Basic strapping techniques for shoulders, knees, thumbs, fingers and ankles
✔️ Introductory soft tissue support and recovery techniques
✔️ Common netball injuries
✔️ Recognising when further treatment or referral may be needed

Please note: This is not an accredited first aid course. It is designed to provide practical game-day support skills for volunteers assisting around the club.

No previous experience is necessary. Even helping occasionally can make a huge difference to our players, coaches and wider netball community.

We need your help. Together, we can ensure our players are supported every week throughout the season
