The smell of post paddle coffee saw this quartet on a mission to regroup with their crew and enjoy a well earned brew at Paintsville.

The Kingfishers had a howling good paddle this morning. Lake King glistened like glass, whilst the distant mountains shrouded in a mystic lavender hue beckoned and lured us to edge closer. Talk about chicken soup for the soul - nothing beats a Wednesday morning dragonboat session followed by coffee and cake.

Saturday morning's crew were keen to warm up and get into the boat. There may have been a few icy and numb fingertips, but if you ask anyone in the boat why they keep coming back - its the F words.
