1st XI
Batting first, the Easters posted a competitive 227, led by a superb 97 from Ben Beaumont, while Michael Rechichi added a valuable 35 through the middle order.
With the ball, Archie Phillipson was the chief destroyer with a brilliant 5/23, bringing up an impressive 50 wickets for the season with Joseph Conlin also adding a tidy 2/11.
The win secures 2nd spot for the 1st XI and locks in a consecutive semi final appearance for the side.
2nd XI
The 2nd XI put in a fantastic fighting effort chasing Sunshineβs 210, in the end falling short. Shyam Sunder led the way with a well-made 49, while Nicholas Velevski contributed 30 in his first game as captain for the club closing out their season.
3rd XI
The 3rd XI produced a dominant win to book another Grand Final appearance under skipper Joe Trimboli. Batting first, East Coburg posted an imposing 7/232, led by Adam Park with 73, supported by Mal Cook (46) and a quick-fire 44 off just 16 rocks from Wilhelm Christian.
With the ball, Aidan Trimboli had a career day, producing an outstanding spell to claim 7/34 and seal a memorable victory for the Easters.
5th XI
The 5th XI also booked in their Grand Final ticket with a strong win over Barkly Street. A tidy fielding performance and disciplined bowling laid the platform, with Elliot Smith finishing with 3/20 and Simon Smith producing an excellent spell of 3/9.
Chasing 132, the Easters got the job done in the 33rd over, led by skipper Adrian Trimboli with a composed unbeaten 66* to guide the side home.
A big finals push ahead for the Easters with two sides through to Grand Finals and the 1s gearing up for their semi final πͺ
