Congratulations Coach liana and Coach Kiara Santos on becoming the 2026 National Champions.

What makes this achievement extra special is that it’s the first time both sisters have won Nationals together and both came from behind, losing to the second place opponent, either the day before or in the same bracket to finish on top.

The mental fortitude needed to dig deep and win is what we truly celebrate. At SJJA Parramatta, we instil resilience in our children and adult members and to see the coaches leading by example is an incredible achievement!

SJJA Parramatta is excited to hold our annual Father’s Day training on the 29th of August.
It’s a great opportunity for our fathers to train with their children or partners on the mats and be in the moment with their loved ones.

Our sessions are as follows:
8am Pre-School
9am Little Kids
10am Big Kids
11am High School (Run Off 1)
12pm Adults (Run Off 2)

Spots are limited due to uniform allocation so please book via the SJJA App to secure your spot!
Father’s that are active members can just reach out to us without booking online.
We can’t wait to celebrate all the special men in our community.

One of the many great families in our community. Augustino has been raised up in our academy and we’ve see his journey and his growth.
We are also so happy to see his mum, Kay step on the mats and become an integral part of the lunchtime legends and the women’s team here at SJJA Parramatta.
It could not have been done without the love and support of Paul, dad, hubby and all round nice guy.

We remember little Maiya watching our classes from the window, begging her parents to start jiujitsu from such a little age. Now she has achieved her yellow belt and is one of our OG kids that lead and help the other kids during classes but also competes at the SJJA Cup.
We are so proud of your growth, we also love that mum is a blue belt at our academy and look forward to having many more memories on and off the mats with your family 💎

Thank you to the Armstead family for supporting Raiden and Yuna in their jiujitsu journey.
We have seen the children gain confidence and develop fortitude over the years.

Learning something new as an adult is a lot more difficult than learning as a child.
The hardest step, is to walk into the unknown.
We applaud anyone stepping outside their comfort zone by entering our academy and we celebrate the ones that continue with it.
Our academy is a safe space of learning and with the right community, it’s here, where we build our diamonds under the pressure that is Brazilian Jiujitsu.
We galvanised the ones that have earnt the rank of their new belt and continue to inspire each other to greatness.
