And a first for us we had a wedding party including a beautiful bride and handsome groom got amongst it.

💚SUPPORTING OUR HAWKESBURY COMMUNITY💛

Windsor Leagues Club is proud to continue supporting the wonderful organisations that make such a difference across our local community through the 2026 ClubGRANTS program.

This year, Windsor Leagues Club provided a total of $46,078 in ClubGRANTS funding across Category 1 and Category 2.

💚 CATEGORY 1 – $18,750
ClubGRANTS funding was provided to help support:

🫶 Bridges Care Disability & Mental Health Support Services – $5,000 towards enhancing their courtyard area.

🫶 Hawkesbury's Helping Hands – $2,000 towards improvements to their Homeless Hub.

🫶 Heartbeat of Football – $6,000 towards the Heart Health Matters project.

🫶 Kids With Cancer Foundation – $2,000 towards their Family Financial Assistance Program to assist paying bills for families fighting cancer.

🫶 Stewart House – $3,750 to help vulnerable school children from the Hawkesbury LGA attend Stewart House.

🏉 CATEGORY 2 – $27,328

A further $27,328 in ClubGRANTS funding was provided to Windsor Wolves Junior Rugby League Club, supporting grassroots rugby league and helping provide opportunities for players and families within our local community. 💚💛🐺

We’re very fortunate to have so many dedicated organisations and volunteers working every day to support people throughout the Hawkesbury.

For Windsor Leagues Club, ClubGRANTS is one of the ways we can give back to the community that continues to support our Club💚💛

Wow - we've just kicked off at Multicultural Health Week 2026 activities with City of Canterbury Bankstown - and our program is proving very popular. With wonderful support from translators highlighting the importance of providing services in-language makes a big difference. Providing free Heart Health Checks from 10am until 1pm at Campsie Library

This is an important breakthrough. Hope something similar happens here in Oz...women deserve better.

After decades of underdiagnosis for women, this is a landmark moment.❤️

Heart attacks have been radically redefined in new international guidelines, which could transform care for tens of thousands of women in the UK.

The new focus on finding three less common causes of heart attacks, which mainly affect women, should ensure more accurate diagnoses and that people are given the best treatments.

In 2026, the campaign continued to grow as a powerful national movement, uniting sporting clubs and community groups around one simple but life-saving idea: leads to which leads to .

43 clubs. More than 260,000 people reached. An incredible $25,500 raised!

Thank you to every club, volunteer, sponsor and supporter who helped make 2026 such a powerful national campaign.

The Clubs prizes included life-saving defibrillator packages, Days and CPR and AED training—creating a lasting impact well beyond the campaign.

Let’s tackle heart health together! ❤️⚽️

This Saturday, Beecroft Football Club is teaming up with Heartbeat of Football to provide FREE Heart Health Checks to anyone aged 18 or over.

🗓 Saturday 8 August
⏰ 12pm - 4pm
🏟 Cheltenham Oval

From 12pm to 4pm, trained nurses will be at Cheltenham Oval to test blood pressure, cholesterol, and blood sugar levels. The test takes less than 10 minutes and you get your results instantly.

There's also senior men's matches kicking off at 11am, 1pm, and 3pm, plus the club BBQ, so there will be plenty of action at the ground!

You don't need to be a football player to participate - everyone is welcome.

A big shout out to the Office of Sport and Steve Kamper for continuing to support this lifesaving program. Get in quick folks!

Applications are now open for the Local Sport Defibrillator Grant Program.

The Office of Sport is providing up to $500,000 to help community sporting organisations purchase, maintain and provide training for automated external defibrillators (AEDs).

Since 2017, the Program has supported the installation of more than 2,500 AEDs at community sport and recreation facilities across NSW, helping improve participant safety and emergency preparedness.

This year, all funded AEDs will be registered on the GoodSAM AED Registry, strengthening emergency response capabilities and public access to life-saving equipment.

📅 Applications close 7 October 2026, or earlier if funding is exhausted.

The level of support for Rugby League in NSW and QLD from Leagues Clubs Australia member clubs is simply amazing.

We are proud to be a partner of the initiative taking our programs into clubs for the benefit of members, guests and staff.

Rugby League players and supporters have come together to thank licensed clubs for the vital role they play in the games success. Leagues Clubs Australia and its members invest more than $100 million into Rugby League annually, supporting clubs and communities across NSW and Queensland.
