Ipswich Revolution is celebrating Female Football Week for 2026!
Our club boasts a proud and successful Women's team, and our history goes beyond the Revs era!
We have had plenty of Women that has played for the club during the Barcenal FC social times and they are still a welcoming presence to this day.
In 2024, we kicked off our very first Women's side as we entered the FQ Futsal Premier League. Our first season was a massive success as the side went on to remain unbeaten in the league and lifted the title! There are plenty of names from that side that really shined on the court! There are names like Lareena Meiklejohn, Kate Day, Ashleigh Amadio, Emma Woods, Cherie Young, Isabella Pearson, Madison Crampton, and many more!
Then the Women's tried to defend the title in the most recent 2025 FQFPL, as we fell short to Sala Time in Extra Time. Despite coming up short, the girls fought with heart and soul, even during the normal season as they finished in 2nd place. Overall, it was a season still to remember as they should be proud of their efforts. Some of the names in that squad was Nuala Winter, Izabella Gaymer, Lily Dart, Loralai Cox, Lauren Spreadborough, Sara Daly, Alicia Brown, and many more as well!
Then we took on the GCI for the first time, and we did not have a enjoy much success, but we learned from the experience coming up against F-League quality sides. We are still so proud of all that gave the tournament a go! Such names from the GCI team were Amber Pocock, Montana Mure, Ella De Silva, Flynn Winter, and Sarah Tolhurst!
We would like to thank all the girls that has been a part of the club, from Barcenal, up until now to the Revs. Your contribution and being a part of this team has been an honour and a blessing!
We continue to strive to create more memories and celebrate the Women's game for many years to come!
