A place for all Melbourne Uni soccer fans, regardless of being competitive or not, and to socialise and find a sense of belonging.

This club welcomes people from all backgrounds and skill. We also organise monthly screening of live European & Australian soccer matches at sports bars. With timetables released for Semester 2 , here’s some exciting news:

All our sessions this Semester are planned for Mondays, 4–6pm 🗓️at the hockey pitch.

🎉 Proudly presenting 2025 Semester 1 SAS Futsal Tournament!

With a grand prize of $300, come down from 3:45pm to the Synthetic Hockey Pitch on Monday, 5th May to put your futsal skills to the test in a fun and friendly tournament, with a chance to win some cash and bragging rights!

YOU MUST be a SAS member to participate and the tournament will be open to 40 participants on a first-come, first-served basis. The strict deadline is 4pm, so please ensure you arrive on time and ready to play at 3:45pm. Teams will be randomly allocated on the day. More information and rules will be explained on the day.

**$300 prize to be split among the winning team and special prize for tournament MVP**

*Only current members will be able to redeem their prize winnings*

*Strictly no studs or soft-ground boots allowed*

With timetable preferencing for semester 1 open, here’s some exciting news:
The majority of our Semester 1 futsal sessions are planned for Mondays, 4–6pm.

For Semester Weeks 1, 2, and 10 (weeks starting 3rd March, 10th March, and 12th May, respectively), sessions will be on Tuesdays, 4–6pm instead.** 🗓️

🔥 Proudly presenting SAS’s Sem 2 2024 FIFA Tournament with a $160 Prize Pool! 🎮⚽

Event Details:
📅 Date: Monday, 7th October
🕓 Time: 4:00 – 8:00pm AEDT (following our futsal session from 3:00 – 4:00pm)*
📍 Location: Meet at Unimelb Hockey Pitch, Melbourne Uni, Parkville Campus (Room TBD)

2024 Sem 2 UOMSAS Announcement

Hi everyone,

Welcome back to another semester, hope you’ve all had a fantastic winter break! As per usual, we will be holding casual 2 hour football sessions at the hockey pitch weekly so feel free to come down and have some fun.

All standard sessions run from 3-5pm on Mondays each week at the Synthetic Hockey Pitch with some outliers for the weeks listed below:

Week 4 (14/08) - Wednesday (3-5pm)
Week 5 (21/08) - Wednesday (3-5pm)
Week 6 (28/08) - Wednesday (3-5pm)
Week 7 (04/09) - Wednesday (3-5pm)
Week 10 (30/09) - Monday (3:30-5:30pm)
No sessions will be hosted during Mid Semester Break + SWOTVAC

We will also be incorporating some key changes from this semester onwards. With the vision of the club at priority - we’d like to host more extracurricular sporting/social events throughout the semester as well so that club members and participants have more to look forward to. This is inclusive of multiple football tournaments (featuring prize money :), FIFA tournaments (once again... featuring prize money), and much more.

To accommodate this, we are will be enforcing a strict members only policy or if you’re not a member - a single-entry payment of $2 to participate (excl. surcharge fees) from Week 4 onwards (the first 3 weeks will be free of charge). Regardless of the fact that we are running a tight ship, these funds will purely be used to finance future events - but also to ensure that we can maintain the club’s spirit and continue to host weekly football sessions, events, and more for everyone to enjoy.
