🌾 Be Road Ready for Harvest 🌾

Parkes Shire Council held their Be Road Ready for Harvest day at the Parkes Jockey Club early this month.

More than 20 local farmers, operators and industry representatives attended the recent Be Road Ready for Harvest Field Day in Parkes, gaining valuable information on safely and legally moving agricultural machinery and vehicles on our road network ahead of harvest.

From fatigue management and load restraint to registration requirements and the latest agricultural vehicle exemption notices, attendees took part in practical, hands-on activities designed to help keep everyone safe on our roads.

A huge thank you to all presenters, supporters and participants who helped make the day a success.

🔥OBESSIVE NATURE DOES IT AGAIN🔥

What a performance from Obessive Nature at
Trangie on Saturday, bringing up his 10th career victory in the 800m Open Sprint!

Carrying a massive 76kg, the Sharon Jeffries trained gelding was in for the fight, running down the leader late under the urgings of jockey Ashley Boyd.

To make the win even more impressive, he clocked a blistering 44.6 seconds for the 800m 💨
