SOLD! SOLD! SOLD!

It’s Finally Official!!

My wife Deb and myself have sold Iron Works Fitness to Viva Leisure. Viva Leisure is a ASX Listed company with over 400 fitness centres under its control. Iron Works Fitness will become part of the Club Lime team.

It’s been 8yrs and 4mths of ownership of Iron Works Fitness and it’s been an incredible ride with so many fond memories and great friendships made but it is now time for me to invest more time into my family and in particular coaching time into my boys who are all chasing their own dreams.

There are a few thanks that I need to give! Firstly I would like to thank North Parkes Mine for their incredible support and forming a great community partnership with Iron Works which been greatly appreciated. Secondly I would like to thank the Parkes Spaceman Senior Rugby League Club for their immense support directing players towards Iron Works and in particular thanks to Tony Dwyer and Paul Clyburn for driving the support. Last but definitely not least I would like a say a huge thank you to all people that have used Iron Works over the years but a very special mention to all of our very loyal members that have stuck with us even when there has been new shiny toys turn up in town. It’s that incredible loyalty that has been the backbone for us to thrive over the 8.5yrs so thank you very much. 😊🙏

We are so incredibly proud of what we have achieved and offered such as Free Challenges, done hundreds of Free programs for members and been the fitness centre in town that members could access elite level advice. We have maintained our passion for fitness and striving for excellence throughout our time here with arriving in 2015 to coaching myself to a Australian Bodybuilding Titles to just last week coaching my son to break his own Australian Records in Powerlifting. We never lost our drive to succeed.

So thank you Parkes for being a wonderful town and being so supportive over a long period of time. All the best with your future fitness goals and you have some very exciting times ahead at your gym!!

Congratulations to Zac Wheeldon who just smashed his owned Australian Records today!
16yrs
BW: 89.7kg
Squat: 220kg
Bench: 130kg
Deadlift 240kg

Total: 590kg

Zac previous Australian Record total was 540kg so 50kg increase is just insane. ( Australia record before Zac 503kg)

So proud of Zac and so incredibly proud of what we have been able to achieve out of Iron Works Fitness, we are still the gym that Transforms!!

Zac’s current 16yrs u90kg Class Australian Deadlift Record is 225kg
Zac just deadlifted 240kg in training!💪😎

Zac Wheeldon Bench Pressing 140kg, not bad for a 16yr old!💪
Zac is 3wks out from his powerlifting meet in Bathurst in which he will be attempting to break his own Australian Records.
This is talent and hard work and maybe a little bit of intelligent programming coming together.
