Like a group of really nice friends who don't care what you look like, what you're wearing, your level of fitness or whether you've shaped your eyebrows. We train together and we encourage each other to do better, to try harder and to walk away from each session feeling that we've achieved something. Because we know that when we feel proud of ourselves our confidence and sense of self-worth grows.

And that's really what this is all about. We work in two tapered training cycles per school term combining Pilates, Strength and Conditioning, Yoga, Sprinting and Weights classes. These sessions are all you need to feel bouncy and strong again. Rest assured that you can go as easy as you need to, and all will be clearly explained before each session. If you're thinking of beginning a fitness journey, or don't consider yourself a runner, be assured that all of the sessions can be tailored to beginners and no one will ridicule you for having wobbly bits, for puffing, or for your running style. You will always be treated with kindness and respect. HOW MUCH DOES IT COST? All classes are $15, but you can buy a 10-pass for $120. You can attend as many or as few of the sessions as you like. You will never pay for sessions you don't attend and there are no hidden fees. One-on-one sessions are available with Kate for $75 per hour, or with Amy for $50 per hour. Kate specialises in gait analysis and running biomechanics for injury prevention. Amy specialises in strength and conditioning and is fantastic at motivating beginners. I’M SO EXCITED FOR THIS!!!!!!!

Genuinely.

The loss of mobility and function in my body has been alarming since being injured this past year. So tight and stiff everywhere. Dangerously so.

I’ve been doing the stretching and releasing and it’s improving but I really think there’s a need for education around mobility and recovery for anyone who trains like we do. And a regular session to attend.

WELL. Our very own Paget has built an incredible program targeting all of the areas that need release before and after training to keep us supple. I’ve had a sneaky peak and it’s beautiful. He’s been busy building BioSpanners for his class and has enough to run a trial for 22 people on Saturday 31 January @ 730am at the Mundaring Arena. Upstairs. There’s video and spanners and Mike’s awesome blend of knowledge, humour and humility.
