We're in the newspaper! 🗞📰

And although it's a bitter sweet reason, we are proud to be supporting the Parkerville community with a defibrillator generously donated by the WACA - Western Australian Cricket Association and Cricket Australia.

Almost 18 months ago, legendary cricketers Shane Warne and Rod Marsh, died of heart attacks, both within 24 hours of each other.

The tragic loss to the cricket community prompted the funding of defibrillators to clubs throughout Australia, in an effort to avoid loss of life in the future.

Using a defibrillator is easy and instructions are clearly written on the box. Take the time to locate the unit on the verandah of the Parkerville Recreation Pavilion next time you are there. It may save someone's life!

Parkville Junior Cricket Club is thrilled to share some fantastic news with all of you! 🌟
We are incredibly grateful to be the recipients of a generous matching grant of $960 from the Shire of Mundaring. 🎉 This grant has been instrumental in helping us acquire new balls and cricket equipment for our club!

As many of you know, cricket balls are quickly damaged and new match balls are required each week for every game for every team! These rules come at a considerable cost to our community club.

Thanks to the support of the Shire of Mundaring, we can now equip our teams with top-notch cricket balls and equipment, enhancing their skills and enjoyment of the game. 🙌 This investment will have a direct and positive impact on our young cricketers, empowering them to excel on the field.

We extend our deepest gratitude to the Shire of Mundaring for their ongoing recognition and value of sports development within our community with this generous grant. 🤝

Let's continue fostering a love for cricket and providing an excellent platform for our talented young players to grow and thrive. 🌱🏏
