We produced our first four-quarter performance of the season on Saturday in a 59-point rout of Wunkar in the wet.
After a tight first quarter, in which we dominated but were unable to score apart from a Dale Salmon major, we continued to defend strongly after the first break.
Fridge and Jimmy kicked goals in the second, while Jadyn kicked his first goal for the club as we led 23-1 at half time.
We set ourselves for a big third quarter and the boys responded well, kicking six goals to blow the game wide open.
We held Wunkar to just two points until late in the third term when the Dogs got their first goal of the game.
We had five individual goal kickers in the third term, with Fridge taking his tally to three before finishing the game with five.
We led 61-8 at the final change, before kicking three goals to two in the last with a number of our players rested on the bench.
Silk and Crofty were like yin and yang. Silk provided the class around the contest, making it look like dry-weather footy. While Crofty was just an absolute beast with his tackling and pressure.
Big Leroy was unbelievable at centre half forward, taking countless marks due to his workrate.
Klayton Rigney played his best game for the club, turning defence into attack at every opportunity.
Jono Wood and Joel Watson were outstanding down back, particularly in the first half as they intercepted everything that came their way.
Crofty won this weekโs Trademark Award, for his brilliant attack on the footy, but also for his pressure at the coalface.

Despite a tough result, with Wunkar defeating Paringa 70โ17, the Paringa girls continued to fight hard for four quarters.
Ara was outstanding in defence, using her agility and determination to create numerous intercepts and turnovers. Her relentless pressure made Wunkar's shooters work extra hard for every opportunity, with Codie providing excellent support through her ability to apply consistent defensive pressure.
Hannah once again showcased her versatility, spending time at both ends of the court. Whether shooting goals or contributing in defence, she proved to be a valuable asset to the team.
In the goal circle, Raz and Bree B worked well together, combining strongly and continuing to create scoring opportunities throughout the match.
Through the midcourt, Eva, Bree C, Courtney and Jossalyn worked tirelessly all day. Their effort and determination to run both ways and contest every ball never wavered, demonstrating great commitment despite the challenging scoreboard.
The team's persistence, resilience and willingness to keep fighting until the final whistle were highlights of the day.

Friday night saw us take on Wunkar at home. Despite going down 26โ51, there were plenty of positives to take away from the match.
The first quarter was fairly even, with both teams matching each other early on. A couple of turnovers allowed Wunkar to build momentum and gradually establish a lead that proved difficult to reel back in.
One of the highlights of the game was the teamโs flow through the court. The girls put into practice what we had worked on at training throughout the week, moving the ball well and showing great determination against a strong opposition side.
Chloe F was outstanding defensively, getting great hands over the ball and collecting several important intercepts. Her constant communication and encouragement through the court helped keep the team organised and focused.
Tahlia was consistent in the shooting circle, converting her opportunities well and using clever movement on the base line against a very strong defender. Her hard work and accuracy were a real positive throughout the match.
While the scoreboard didnโt fall our way, the effort, teamwork and application of our training goals were encouraging signs as we continue to build throughout the season.
