Today 5 years ago we opened the doors as Dog Fight Combat Club. We had no dea where we were going to end up, how long we were going to do it, or what direction we wanted to go.
We had big dreams and no real understanding of the work and sacrifice it was going to take.

5 years later, we have the most amazing family. We have a stable of athletes, loyal friendships and a team of people I wouldn't ever want to give up.

We have had some amazing people walk up the stairs, not knowing what they are walking into, and once they are there, want to stay.

I am so happy with where we are, and the direction we are going. I can't wait to see what the next 5 years will bring, and I know it will be all positive.

A massive thank you to or members, our athletes, past and present, and most of all the boss lady Melissa Barrett for having a place everyone feels welcome and safe.

Thank you to our sponsors and supporters for being there everyday, week and year.

Thanks Michael Turner for being there with some awesome young lads.

Special shout out to the fans this weekend.
Moreover; a huge thank you to those that attended the fights. I know not only do the fighters appreciate the support, but the coaches dont say enough.
Thank you very much to those that attended in person.

So after the last 3 day, these 2 amazing gentleman have done something most never will.

We started with Jake Lang. For the first time he is in his own division, U17.
Jake had a tough opponent, long and strong. Jake worked hard but wasn't able to close and hold distance and unfortunately didn't get the win.
This is just the start for Jake. We saw a fire lit under him, lookout for more to come.

Next up we had Denzel. Again a tough opponent from interstate, and an important day for him.
The bout goes the distance and Denzel get the win, mening a quick turn around and another bout on day 2.
Day 2 Denzel gets a bout again an opponent he knows, We have faught him before. This is set to be a huge fight and Denzel is keen, nervous and excited all at the same time.
The bout starts and bothcome out strong.
The first round finishes and the second starts the same way.
Denzel goes to work and gets an 8 count, once it is done Denezel come out, worked hard and continued tjes work and got the stoppage. Off to day 3
Day 3 Denzel is relaxed and ready. He has an opponent from New Caledonia.
He come out strong and Denzel matched energy. It was an amazing bout, but unfortunately the decision went the other person.

These gents did an absolute amazing job. They did themselves proud, family proud and the gym as a whole proud.
You gents are not only great boxers, but amazing humans.
