🔴UNDER 19's TRUE GRIT⚫
Thanks to on Insta
It was a game of two very different halves, with Bundoora taking control in the second quarter and heading into half-time with a 15-point advantage.
The Hillers had started well, leading 15–9 at quarter time, but Bundoora hit back strongly in the second, outscoring us 27–6 to take a 36–21 lead into the main break.
Coach Mark Sobol inspired the boys at half time and what a speech it was!
The third quarter was outstanding, with the boys completely turning the game around. The Redbacks piled on 50 points to Bundoora's 24, taking a narrow lead into the final term at 71–60.
And there was no letting up in the last.
The Hillers continued to attack, adding another 33 points while holding Bundoora to just 21, running away to a well-deserved 104–81 victory.
Up forward, it was a special day, with three of our Colts each finishing with four goals, Angus Walker, Lachlan Sobol and co-captain Jeffrey Walker Jnr.
But the story of the day was the response after half-time. To be 15 points down at the main break and then turn it into a 23-point victory showed plenty of character and resilience from this young group, who take on Heidelberg next Saturday 9am at Lalor Reserve, got a spot in the Grand Final.
