Saints Football Club

Saints Football Club Saints FC est. 1974. We pride ourselves on being a family club with the largest kindy program in the area. St Christopher's FC was established in 1974.

Through the years the club has grown and recorded our highest numbers in 2022. The club fields teams from u6's to All Age Men & Ladies, Premier League and o35's. The club also has the biggest and well renown Kindies program for players aged 3 to 5. We pride ourselves on been a family club. The beginning - Our first team under the banner of St Christopher's Soccer Club and affiliated with St Chrsit

opher's Sports Club, entered the Bankstown United Association of Soccer Clubs competition in the under 9 age group. The team was organised at St Christopher's Primary School by a Teacher and Parents. The strip the team wore was red shirts with yellow trim, white shorts and red socks and white top. A cloth badge with St Chrsitopher's Sports Club and a soccer ball embroided thereon were sewn into the shirts. In the first season the team attended the Sports Club Presentation Day, the trophies were small but the team spirit was big. That spirit remains as strong today. From Humble beginnings the Club has moved through the years to this present time and has gained the respect of other district clubs both by its performance on the field and off the field.

2024 will see the Club celebrate 50 Years.

Another great weekend of football for our Saints FC teams! 👏⚽

A huge congratulations to all our players, coaches, managers, referees and volunteers for their efforts both on and off the field.

The club was also proud to host Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea cake stall, raising funds for the Cancer Council and supporting the incredible work they do for those affected by cancer. Thank you to everyone who donated, baked, purchased treats, and helped make the day such a success.

Well done, Saints family – another fantastic weekend of football and community spirit!

What a fantastic last two weeks of football across our club! ⚽💜

A special shoutout to all of our girls’ and ladies’ teams who proudly wore purple socks to celebrate Female Football Week — a great way to recognise and support the growth of the women’s game.

It was also wonderful to see so many smiles at our U8/9 Girls Gala Day and U8 Gala Day, with plenty of fun, teamwork and enthusiasm on display throughout the day. Great days put on by Revesby Rovers FC & Bankstown Sports Strikers FC

Congratulations as well to our competitive teams on some fantastic results over the past few rounds — the hard work from players and coaches is really showing.

Most importantly, thank you to our amazing volunteers who give up their time every weekend to help our club run smoothly. From setting up fields, managing teams, canteen duty, ground marshals and everything in between — we truly appreciate all that you do.

Coaches are the ultimate jack of all trades!

Respecting our coaches is this week’s Shoosh for Kids focus.

Coaches are volunteers who give up their time week after week to help kids build skills, confidence and a love of sport. Their impact goes beyond the field, shaping how young people learn, grow and work as a team.

This week, we’re encouraging families to support coaches by letting them do the coaching. From the sideline and on the way home, keep your messages positive and aligned with what coaches are teaching.

Take a moment to thank your coaches for the time, care and energy they put into developing kids both on and off the field. When we support them, we help create a better experience for everyone.

Check out this awesome piece of content from The Football Association focusing on respect for coaches, setting a good example for players and parents through actions during a match.

It’s great when you love doing what you do and we loved making this...
