😣 CLUB LEFT OPEN AGAIN 😱

Regretfully we have had to change the door code for key access to the clubhouse as once again the Club was left open last night.😡😡😡

This is an honesty system where if an adult sees the doors open and they are the last ones to leave then they need to either contact someone (coach/manager/committee member) or simply lock the Club up.

The alternative is no one will have access to the building. This means any of the training equipment unless a committee member is there and children won’t have access to toilets.

We don’t want this so I implore our families - if you open it - CLOSE IT. If you see it open and you are the last one on site - LOCK IT

Notice is hereby given that the 2026 Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Palmwoods Warriors Football Club Inc. will be held as follows:

The AGM provides members with an opportunity to:
• Receive updates on the operations, achievements and future direction of the Club.
• Hear reports from the President and Treasurer.
• Review the Club’s financial performance for the 2025/26 financial year.
• Participate in discussion regarding the future of the Club.
• Nominate for and elect members of the Management Committee and key volunteer positions.

• Grants & Sponsorship Coordinator
These roles play a critical part in supporting the continued growth and success of the Club.

At the AGM, members will be asked to:
• Confirm the minutes of the 2025 Annual General Meeting.
• Adopt the President’s Report.
• Adopt the Treasurer’s Report and annual financial statements.
• Appoint the Club’s auditor/accountant for the 2026/27 financial year.
• Elect members of the Management Committee.
• Consider any other business properly brought before the meeting.

As always, the AGM will also include updates on the Club’s strategic priorities, infrastructure projects, membership growth, volunteer initiatives and plans for the 2027 season and beyond.

💥 HOME GAME OBLIGATIONS 💥

All PARENTS - A reminder that we are a volunteer based club. For home games we require extra help from YOU….

Remember:
✅ If your team plays at 8/8.30am then you are responsible for field set up. You MUST be at the club at 745am. This is not up to the coach or manager. This is a parents role to assist with.

✅ If your team is last to play on a field, you are responsible for field pack down. Again, this is not up to the coach or manager, this is a parents role.

✅ All teams have a compulsory canteen obligation. Check with your team manager as to when you are required to volunteer. This is not a coach and manager role. This is a PARENTS ROLE

✅ Game official - each team MUST designate a game official per game. Not a difficult role but important none the less. This is not a coach and manager role. This is a PARENTS ROLE 👷‍♀️👷‍♂️

✅ Line Marking - HELP REQUIRED We desperately need some assistance for 2 hours per week to line mark the fields. It’s good exercise and you get paid for it. 💰💰💰💰💰💰💰💰💰💰

‼️ HOW CAN YOU HELP? Before or after your game ASK a simple question - “Do you need a hand??”
We have over 350 members meaning we have well over 300 parents who can assist so please, don’t just leave or leave it up to the coach/manager. They do enough.

We appreciate your assistance and look forward to seeing you this weekend.
