🔵⚪ SATURDAY = GAME DAY ⚪🔵

The boys hit the road today for Round 11, heading down to take on Springwood in what shapes as a must-win day for both senior sides as we look to bank some crucial points heading into the back half of the season.

And somehow, in scenes nobody saw coming, Liam Astley has been named after being chaired off in retirement last season. Turns out the farewell lap was a bit premature. We’re still not entirely sure if this is a comeback, a midlife crisis, or if he just missed having to run laps at training… but either way, good to have him back out there.

Another big weekend of footy ahead for the Blues with action kicking off Friday night before our senior men hit the road on Saturday and our juniors take over on Sunday. 💙🏉

Our Senior Women get the weekend underway under lights on Friday night as they head to Noosa.

On Saturday, our Senior Men and Reserves travel to take on Springwood as they look to put together a strong four-quarter performance on the road.

🔵⚪ GAME DAY THIS WEEKEND – PAST PLAYERS DAY ⚪🔵

It’s a massive Saturday at Property Lane Oval as we host Past Players Day, with all three senior sides in action at home. 💙

Our men take on old rivals Caloundra Panthers in both Reserves and Seniors, while our Women’s side wraps up the day against Kedron Lions.

We’re celebrating a special milestone with Alistair Baker running out for his 100th game in navy blue - a fantastic achievement and one we can’t wait to celebrate. Congrats AB! 👏💯

We’re also excited to be welcoming home, with Club favourite Ellen Hopkins pulling the boots on again with our Women’s side this weekend. Great to have you back where you belong, Hoppy (and fitting on Past Players Day)! 🔵🙌

With past players returning to the club, old rivalries renewed, and plenty to celebrate, it’s set to be a huge day around the Blues.

💙🏉 100 GAMES – ALISTAIR BAKER 🏉💙

This Saturday, on Past Players Day, we celebrate a fantastic milestone as Alistair Baker runs out for his 100th game in Blues colours.

AB has been a huge part of the club over the years, helping deliver premiership success in 2009, 2010 and 2011, taking home the 2010 Best & Fairest, the 2012 Best Finals Player and earning his place in both our 2000 and 2010 Team of the Century squads.

While reaching 100 games across three different decades might suggest he took the scenic route, anyone who knows AB knows the impact he's had on the club has been far greater than any number can show.

It's only fitting that this milestone falls on Past Players Day, with many of AB's former teammates, coaches and mates expected to be back at the club to celebrate alongside him and relive some of the great memories from his playing days.

Congratulations on 100 games, AB. We can't wait to celebrate the milestone with you on Saturday! 💙👏

One of the biggest days on the Blues calendar is here! 💙

This Saturday we welcome our past players back to Property Lane Realty Oval as we take on our long-time rivals, the Caloundra Panthers.

There’s nothing quite like a Blues vs Panthers clash, and with Past Players Day bringing generations of players back to the club, it promises to be a fantastic afternoon around the grounds. Following the men's games, our Senior Women take centre stage against Kedron.
