Palmerston City is located about 20 Kms from Darwin City. Palmerston Pistol Club is located in the Darwin Area and the most active ISSF pistol club in the Northern Territory, Australia. The Palmerston Pistol Club is situated off Catalina Road in Palmerston NT and meets every Sunday Morning at 0730 and every Tuesday evening after 1700 hours. The Palmerston Pistol Club’s events are all the ISSF matc
hes, Black Powder and Service Pistol matches as well as WA 1500. The club actively promotes competition at inter club and interstate level. In the Darwin area, the Palmerston Pistol Club is “the” ISSF (International Shooting Sport Federation) club and is recognised as such in all the Darwin area. Also, Service pistol shooting is very competitive in the Darwin area and of course Palmerston Pistol Club is well recognised. Every year members of the Palmerston Pistol Club represent the Darwin area and the Northern Territory at the National Championships held in various parts of Australia such as Perth, Adelaide and Cessnock in NSW.
