Warning: this quickie is addictive.

This hormone-friendly strength circuit is low impact, no jumping, and built to work with your body, not wreck it for the rest of the week.

It's exactly the kind of training your body needs right now. Smart, sustainable, and actually enjoyable.

πŸ‘‡ The circuit x 3
βœ… KB goblet squats x 10
βœ… KB Deadlifts x 10
βœ… DB seated overhead press x 10/10
βœ… Banded lateral walks x 12/12
βœ… Single-leg RDL x 10/10

Rest 30 seconds between exercises. Rest generously between circuits. You've earned it.

And Sarah, you know a Jane who needs this. Send it to her. She'll thank you later.

The scale didn't move. And she's the fittest she's ever been.

Progress after 40 doesn't always show up where you're looking for it.

It shows up in how you sleep.
In the stairs you stopped dreading.
In the weight you lifted this month that you couldn't last month.
In the way you carry yourself now.

If you've been staring at the scale and feeling like nothing is working, come back to this list.

Ask yourself honestly: are any of these things happening? Because if they are, you're making progress. Full stop.

Save this πŸ’Ύ and send it to a woman who needs the reminder today.

The reason your recovery feels harder isn't weakness. It's science.

Oestrogen directly affects how your muscles repair, how your joints feel, and how quickly your body bounces back after training.

When it's higher β†’ faster recovery, more capacity, better response to load.

When it drops (perimenopause/menopause) β†’ slower recovery, less collagen synthesis, stiffer joints.

This isn't a reason to stop. It's a reason to stop training like you did at 25.

What actually helps:

πŸ‘‰ Adjust your training load because harder isn't always better.

πŸ‘‰ Protein up, your muscles need more support than before.

πŸ‘‰ Sleep is recovery, not optional.

πŸ‘‰ Consistent, progressive strength training counteracts what lower oestrogen takes away
Your program should work with your biology, not ignore it.

Save this πŸ’Ύ and share it with a woman who's been told it's just age.

If you're feeling guilty about doing nothing today, you need to read this πŸ‘‡

Rest is not the absence of progress. It's where progress happens.

Your muscles don't grow during your workout. They grow during recovery. Sleep, rest days, downtime.

These aren't optional extras you squeeze in when life allows. They're built into every effective training program for a reason.

So if you're sitting still today, you're not falling behind. You're doing exactly what your body needs.

Honour your rest days this week. You've earned them. πŸ’™

Save this when you need the reminder.

Most women are losing muscle right now and don't know it.

It's called sarcopenia and it starts in your 30s, not your 70s. By the time you're in your 40s, your body is already losing up to 1–2% of muscle mass per year without resistance training.

That sounds scary. but here's why it's not πŸ‘‰

Three strength sessions a week (consistent, well-programmed, not extreme) has been shown in multiple studies to reverse this process entirely. We're talking maintained and built muscle mass well into your 60s and 70s.

βœ…Better bone density.
βœ…Better energy.
βœ…Better hormone balance.

Your body isn't betraying you. It's waiting for the right stimulus.

This is what a day as a women's fitness coach actually looks like.

This is my real day, not the highlight reel version.

School drop-off β†’ morning clients β†’ writing programs β†’ creating coaching content β†’ check-ins with online clients β†’ school pick-up β†’ my own workout β†’ afternoon clients β†’ dinner, walk, bath, bed.

Then we do it all again tomorrow.

Ten years in and I still love this job. Not every day is perfect, but every day I get to help women feel stronger, move better, and actually enjoy training and that never gets old.

If you've been thinking about what it looks like to work with me, this is it. Real coaching, real support, real results.

Comment 'ACADEMY' if you want in.

The goal was never to be smaller. It was always to be stronger. πŸ‘‡

When you stop training to shrink and start training to build everything changes.

You stop dreading workouts and start feeling proud after them.

You stop measuring progress by the scale and start noticing what your body can actually do.

You stop punishing yourself and start investing in yourself.

That's the shift. And once you make it, you can't unmake it.

That's what the Strong Women's Academy is about. Not shrinking. Building. πŸ’ͺ

Got 10 minutes? That's enough.

Save this for the days when life gets in the way because a short workout you actually do beats a long one you don't.

10 minutes. Kettlebells. Full body. Let's go. πŸ–€

Intensity culture has a lot to answer for.

Women going all-in for 6 weeks, burning out, then disappearing and blaming themselves when it doesn't stick.

That's not failure. That's a program that was never built for real life.

Here's what 10 years of working with real women has taught me πŸ‘‰

βœ…Three solid sessions a week, done consistently, creates more lasting change than any extreme protocol ever could.

βœ…Your body responds to what you do repeatedly. Not what you do brilliantly once.

βœ…Sustainable isn't the backup plan. It's the plan.

πŸ”—Save this for the next time someone tries to convince you that more is always better.
