🏆 Grand Finals are next week!

As we head into the final week of the season, a quick reminder to please be respectful around the courts.

Finals can get competitive, but please remember to respect players, coaches, spectators and especially our umpires. Not every call will go your way, but our umpires are there doing their best and deserve to be treated with respect.

Cheer on your team, enjoy the netball and let’s finish the season on a good note.

💙🐍 PNA Power & Pythons – Queensland Junior State Age Wrap Up

What an incredible week for our PNA Under 13 and Under 14 teams at the Queensland Junior State Age Carnival!

Both teams embraced every challenge, showing determination, resilience and a real willingness to learn. From close, hard-fought games to taking on strong opposition, every match helped our players grow in confidence and develop their skills.

But this trip was about so much more than netball. It was about building independence, making lifelong friendships, supporting one another, mentoring our younger players and creating memories that will stay with them long after the final whistle. The laughter, teamwork and shared experiences made this week one to remember.

A huge thank you to our coaches, managers, volunteers and families for making this opportunity possible. Your time, commitment and support continue to provide incredible development opportunities for our players.

We’re so proud of everything our PNA Pythons achieved, both on and off the court. The future is bright!

A huge thank you to the Bond University Bull Sharks!

While taking a break from the competition, our JSA girls had the opportunity to watch the Bond University Bull Sharks take on the Ipswich Jets, and they absolutely loved every minute of it.

After the game, the Bull Sharks players took the time to chat with our girls and take photos, making them feel so special. Then, they came along to our JSA carnival the very next day to cheer on our teams!

It’s little things like this that leave a lasting impression on young athletes. We really appreciate the time and effort the players put into supporting grassroots netball and inspiring the next generation.

Safe to say we’ve created a few Bond University Bull Sharks fan girls this weekend! 🦈💙 Thank you again for making it such a memorable experience for our players.

While our players are down on the Gold Coast working hard and proudly representing PNA at JSA, we also want to give a huge shoutout to our PNA umpire, Kayley Cox! 👏💙🤍

Kayley has been doing an outstanding job throughout the carnival, and we’re incredibly proud to have her representing our association.

Opportunities like JSA simply wouldn’t happen without the dedication of our umpires. Thank you to Kayley, and to all the umpires who step up, support our players, and help make these events possible.

🏐💙 Congratulations to our Palmerston Netball Association Representative Team! 💙🏐

The girls travelled to Broome for the North West Regional Championships and put on an outstanding display, finishing the tournament undefeated and on top of the ladder. 🏆

We’re incredibly proud of the way they represented Palmerston both on and off the court. Well done girls, coaches, and supporters on a fantastic achievement! 🎉

Massive shout out to Sienna who has achieved her National B Badge.

Sienna worked her way through the Green Shirt Program and has represented the NT as a reserve umpire for the U12's and U15's representative teams in both 2025 and 2026.

She is currently giving back as an umpire mentor at DNA and at the NT Regional Schools Netball Carnival.

Amazing work we are all so proud!

Reminder! Please submit an EOI by Wednesday 03 June 2026 so we can lock in and complete planning.

PNA are currently planning a social mixed netball competition to run during our season break over the school holidays from 22 June – 11 July 2026.

The competition is currently proposed to include:
- Team registration fees to cover umpire payments and insurance
- Mixed netball rules with a maximum of 3 men on court per team at one time, with one permitted in each third
- 12-minute quarters

If you are interested in nominating a team, please complete the attached form and we will contact you with further information once planning has been finalised.

If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out via the contact information on the form, or catch our Secretary Alan at the courts on a Monday or Tuesday night.
