This is how my client Krish who was skinny fat ended up losing fat and building muscles in the lifestyle transformation program in 2024

When Krish first reached out to me he was at a place he wasn’t happy with the way he looked and his initial goal was to gain 10kg’s of muscle

He was sitting around 85kg-86kg with excess belly fat

As a coach who had helped many people reach body recomposition goals it wasn’t realistic for him to put on weight aggressively

After setting up the expectation with his first thing we did was setting up a structure with his nutrition to suit his lifestyle

As he stays vegan two days a week during to religious reasons

Structure of his training strategy was customised based on the level he was in at the start of the program

By the end of the first 6 months in 2024 he made some massive changes to his body without losing a lot of weight as he was sitting at 83kg-84kg’s

Best part about Krish was the fact that even his fitness journey was ups and downs he never quit the process

He focused on making deposits and pushing through every time he had something challenges to overcome

Here’s why most people aren’t meant to succeed in there fitness journey and it’s always defined by the distance you travel beyond your capability

Reason why many people don’t succeed in there fitness journey is because sometimes it can be a lonely road

That would come at a sacrifice of leaving your circle which might not serve you the best

I learned that very early in my fitness journey and it’s something that I’m used too

When I first started I had to go through difficult periods till I accomplished something of my own

Life took a massive shift with what I achieved it was definitely not the end and every year my goals kept shifting towards the next level

Looking at my prep in 2022 I was lean and was happy with the progress I made but once it was done I was hungry for more

Which made me invest on my self for long growth season in 2023

Ended up making me look what I look in 2024

I’m glad it ended up making me winning another PRO Card

Just because accomplishing something you set up your mind towards it doesn’t mean it’s the end of the road…….

What keeps you in the game of being successful is the hunger you have towards reaching the next level every time

This is where enjoying the process your going through in your fitness journey is key to long term success

Because that’s what kept me going this far down the road

To be the best at what you do you must do what 99% of your circle isn’t willing to do

I used to believe getting shredded with a six pack would make me healthy and here are my 5 reasons it’s the opposite

If your a person who has a fitness goal to get completely shredded with a six pack I don’t mean to discourage you and say don’t do it

In fact you should do it at least once in your life

I want to share my honest perspective about the reality of maintaining a physique at such low body fat level all year around

I used to believe that achieving a six pack would bring me the ultimate happiness

But the truth is maintaining that level of leanness is incredibly tough and often unhealthy

Here are 5 things I learned from my own experience as a natural bodybuilder for the past 8 years šŸ‘‡

1.Your diet will be extremely restrictive while taking a toll on your body and mental health too

2.Your energy levels will plummet and will feel tired,irritable more importantly your workouts will suffer

3.Maintaining a extremely lower body fat percentage will disrupt your hormonal balance effecting sleep to your mode

4.You won’t have a social life since you will turn down many gatherings with your friends because you will not be able to eat food everyone else enjoy

5.It isn’t something sustainable as our bodies are designed to maintain a healthy amount of fats for protection and energy reserves

Pushing that to the extreme isn’t something we can do indefinitely

Now if you read this caption this far you might wonder whether I’m saying not to have a six pack

If your overweight right now you might use this as a justification to stay where you are

The message I want to share with you is that Fitness is about balance, health, and enjoying the process

It’s about feeling strong, energetic, and confident in your own skin

While having a shredded 6-pack might look impressive its not worth at a cost of your overall wellbeing unless your goal is to compete on stage one day

As I competed recently on stage and it’s been almost 6 weeks since I’ve gone through my process of recovery

Which you must go through if you ever achieve a shredded six pack

Guess what? I feel healthier, happier, and more fulfilled than everšŸ’Ŗ

Why I think your fitness goals are keeping you away from succeeding in your fitness journey……….

When it comes to setting up fitness goals most common goal people want to reach is a certain number on the scale in a specific time

You finally realise that your overweight and it’s making life uncomfortable to you
Reaching that specific number on the scale might make you think you will be happy

The biggest problem with setting up a fitness goal is not that it’s a bad thing

Its when you get discouraged when you end up being few kg’s short šŸ‘Ž
That’s usually a place where some end up going back to old roots 🫤
That’s a bad decision you make for yourself šŸ‘Ž

The most important thing in a fitness journey is the sustainability

This is why as a coach I always believe the most important thing to stick to in a fitness journey are not the diet or the exercise

Yes they do play a part in it

What keeps you sustain your progress are the habits you build during the process of a transformation

You may have been completely sedentary before and now your walking and moving more šŸ’Ŗ
You didn’t drink water before and now your drinking more than before šŸ’Ŗ

Since the day I began my fitness journey the goal I had back then isn’t the goal I have now
Once I achieved the goals I wanted at one point one of the things I understood is the fact that your never going to be happy achieving a number on the scale or achieving a six pack

What really made me happy was loving the process I was going through

To this day the one things that kept me going is the fact that I enjoyed training

If your in a place where you feel overwhelmed that your goal is going to take time and you must put a lot of work to get there

Know that more you love the process of a transformation and keep taking the steps daily no matter how small they are

That’s what I creates a sustainable transformation

Only hard work consistency putting in the reps day in and day will do

Process of achieving your dream physique ain’t easy

It’s requires a process of you going through ups and downs

Fitness is like your savings account more deposits you make with less expenses more savings you get

Just because you couldn’t deposit one day doesn’t mean your going to stop saving money

Just like that don’t let one bad day stop the entire process

You make No Progress in your Fitness Journey when you keep Thinking about it over Starting the Process Messy

The time you waste THINKING is only going to make the road harder not easier 😟

Starting process isn’t hard as you think😊

What’s actually harder is deciding to stay the same thinking šŸ‘Ž

When it comes to success in any area of your life there’s only one simple principle that always works for everyone

It’s called putting in the reps day in and day out šŸ’Ŗ

In my fitness journey when I first began my goal was to get big fast with muscles šŸ’Ŗ

Truth be told that was 17 years ago and here I am still doing the process 😊

Because in the process of going through my fitness journey I learned that your never going to do things perfectly

Your actions will always be messy

You must keep making the deposits day in and day out which will lead you towards your goals one day

I want to write this caption to let you know that if your afraid to start the process in your fitness journey and the reason why you keep thinking is because you might end up failing one day ?

Understand the fact that ā€˜Inaction is the biggest failure than failure could ever be’

Start the process today

Hitting Goals isn’t your end point it’s your Starting Point to Level up to the Next Level

Been over 7 days since I wrapped my comp season for 2024

When I started this prep in 2022 I had 3 major goals I visioned my self achieving

1ļøāƒ£Place in the Top 3 in a Men’s Physique Line up
2ļøāƒ£Place in the Top 3 in a Men’s Fitness Pro Line up
3ļøāƒ£Win a Pro Card in another Federation

Honestly the 3rd one I didn’t believe would come true at one point and when it finally did…….

It took over 7 days to actually sink in that I fu***ng Won a PRO Card again šŸ˜…šŸ˜…šŸ˜…

It feels so fu***ng great that I achieved more than what expected this season and I must say this was one of the best conditions I have ever bought since I first competed in 2016

Achieving more than what I expected was such great feeling and I feel grateful for it

But it doesn’t mean I’ll be complacent from here onwards

Because as always I will be hungry for more and it’s my starting point to level up for what’s next šŸ’Ŗ

Special thanks to my coach for all the support he gave helping me build towards best version of my self this season

for the love and support right through the journey for being my rock

for helping me compete pain free for the first time

Finally thank you for all messages I got last week from so many I do believe I replied to all 😊

I look forward for the next 2 years of improving my self as an athlete and I’ll definitely be back bigger better and stronger in 2027 when I take the stage next šŸ’Ŗ
