Dealing With Niggles - Rehab and Recovery Workshop

Aches, niggles and tightness around the body are unfortunately inevitable in our active lifestyles.



Knees, lower back and shoulders are some of the common areas susceptible to injury and tightness, limiting us from movement and holding us back from progressing toward our goals!

Learn how to manage tension and inhibit injury in some of these areas at our Rehab and Recovery Workshop with Ferg on Saturday 18th 7:45am.

Happy Hump Day friends of Witness The Fitness!

Sure is heating up, lucky we are starting our 4 Week Shred this week, please stay hydrated.

This Saturday we are rowing 60kms to raise funds and awareness of Men's Health, with the support of Lululemon.

Hopefully you can join us! Every $1 over $1500 that WTF raises will take off 10m on the day.

Why 60?

Because 60 men lose their life every hour, around the world, from su***de.
Movember funds groundbreaking Men's Health projects, $1.16 Billion worth so far to be exact. Impacting millions of people already.

How can you support?

1. Participate in the event on Saturday sometime between 9am and Xam (however long it takes us!) This event is replacing the 7:45am Saturday workout.
2. Add WTF or WITNESS THE FITNESS to the message of a ROW FOR A BRO donation before Friday (QR code in the gym or click this link -> https://rb.gy/dbtjvg) Must add 'WTF' to the message!
3. Purchase a $5 WTF KeepCup before Friday, all proceeds go to ROW FOR A BRO.
4. Tell a friend, family member or business connection about this fundraiser and see if they can support us as well.

How will it work on the day?

Book yourself into the wave time that best suits you to arrive. Every half hour from 9am. You may stay as long as you like though and even come back later on if you wish!

There are 5 spots available per wave. There will be a workout/exercises for you to complete between your effort(s) on the rower.

Think of it as multiple 30min (or longer) Saturday workouts.

Once the rower has started, it cannot stop. You will be instructed on how to transition / alert people of a transition.

No expectations or pressure. You may choose to go hard for a short period of time or you can choose to go easy for a longer period of time.

We will simply rotate around with whoever is there at the time.

PRIZES, PRIZES, PRIZES!

Yes, one person in each wave will receive a free Lululemon item of their choice. That's right, anything you wish. I can even send you a spreadsheet of every item to make it easier.

All you'll need to do is go in and try it on before the 4th of December. Unless you know your sizing as well as I do!

Winner will not be chosen on their metres rowed, but their enthusiasm, vibe and drive.

Can you bring along friends, family members or work colleagues?

Absolutely! They don't even have to do any rowing. If you just want some motivational support or you have to look after the kids.. they can hang around for sure!

It is rather late notice I am afraid, I am sorry, but myself, Lululemon and the Movember foundation would really appreciate your support in this event.
