⬛️🟧⬛️ Townsville Chukka Carnival ⬛️🟧⬛️

A carnival where you can make up your own section with any player in the country, design a shirt and get creative with your team name. Sounds fun right!

In total we had 16 players from our club participating in this event. It is great to see our club ever so slowly grow in numbers. We had new players like the addition of another Annabel take to our sport (renamed Big Belle) and old players Shay & Jenna Alley blow out the cobwebs to play in the same team as their daughters 🕸️

With our sights firmly set on 2027, we are very happy to officially announce the competition dates for the 2027 Australian Polocrosse Nationals will be, Monday 21 to Sunday 27 June 2027.

Please don’t forget the Tansey Polocrosse Development Carnival nominations will be a little different to regular carnival nominations!

➡️Your club’s players must ALL be entered as pool players (not teams)

➡️Must be entered by MONDAY 15th June before the carnival (not the Thursday!)

This carnival will be one of the highlights of the year, think - mixed teams, coaching, development based with lots of laughs and smiles. Truely what Polocrosse is all about!

We cannot wait to see you all there!

Let’s play a little catch up on the socials for your Thursday night. We’re a bit behind the 8 ball like the Broncos 🐴

On the 23rd and 24th June we tracked down to the Far Northern Zone Benefit Carnival held in Townsville.

This event isn’t run by a club it’s organised by the Zone Committee Board. We extend our gratitude to the board members for their tireless efforts behind the scenes, which contributed significantly to the event's success. For insights into the zone's achievements, please refer to the latest issue of Behind the Goal Post 📖

All players from every club were mixed into teams strengthening zone cohesion, and offering coaching and structure to the game.
