Croker Oars trivia. it was a family affair with our cousin Michael and Justine McAlpine business, Three Three Condiments also been selected by Business NSW great night together. Here’s the trivia Michael’s mum Anne and my mum Kaye were sisters, good mates Howard Croker and Ron McAlpine all went on a cruise Ron met Anne and dad Howard met mum Kaye and the rest is history. Before this it was Michael’s grandfather that lent £3,500 ponds in 1963 to dad to buy a small shed an house in Hermitage Rd Ryde NSW to build a factory. A start that we will always be thankful for. A powerful story worth sharing.

After suffering eight concussions on the country footy field by just 16 years old, Angus Pitman was forced to step away from the sport he loved.

But closing one sporting chapter opened the door to another — rowing. 🚣

Angus’ story is an incredible example of resilience, adapting to change and finding a new passion when life takes an unexpected turn.

Great to see rowing providing another pathway for young athletes to compete, challenge themselves and continue doing what they love.

We wish him success as he works towards achieving his goals in rowing.
