One of the BIGGEST mistakes I see women make on their fitness journey is letting one random scale fluctuation convince them they’re failing….
No judgement gf, I have had many meltdowns myself in the past, I’d spiral and then think….
❌ “What’s the point?”
❌ “I’ve ruined everything.”
❌ “I knew I couldn’t do this.”
Until…I learned that the scale weight fluctuates for SOOOO many different reasons. Your period, ovulation, stress, sleep, salt, carbs, if you’ve gone to the toilet, eaten a bigger dinner etc etc…
This is why you MUST track more than just the scale. It is ONE piece of data to look at. With my clients, we combine scale weight (well not all, some don’t even weigh themselves!) with progress photos, measurements, energy, strength, clothes, strength….then we look at it OVER-ALL and judge how much progress they are making.
After all, we are NOT on this journey to be a certain number if you dig deep. We are on this journey to FEEL good, to have more energy, to feel good in our clothes…
