The Trades & Business Golf Day is on again. Format changed from previous years with an 11am assemble for a bbq lunch and golf starting at noon. New 10 hole short course for all to enjoy. Get your teams together and see you there.

Tomorrow is the 2 person Ambrose , so if you want the chance of taking home $1000 hole in one or $500 for nearest the pin on the 8th hole come along ( no partner, we’ll find you one) 9am assemble for bbq and 10am start.

Golf is getting LOUDER at Orbost GC.
Wednesday Feb 26 Stableford event is officially now a LOUD or COLOURFUL SHIRT event. Add a little brightness to your life round and come along to share in the awards on Wednesday.

We had 31 players at last Saturday’s stableford event - which was capably won by Paul Marshall (37 pts) closely followed by Steve Robinson on a countback from young Jake Farley (36 pts) with Marg Owen and Merv Lowing on very handy 35 pt rounds.
NTP’s were Brian McDonald (2nd), Reg Armstrong (8th), Barry Crowe (10th) and Paul Marshall (12th).

All players are reminded that the program of events is on display at the clubhouse and copies available at the bar.

Sat March 1 will be our MONTHLY MEDAL stroke round – come and make the most of some of the best conditions for golf that we’ve had recently.

Hi Members – 30 players including two Bairnsdale visitors played Wednesday in perfect conditions for golf – no excuses thanks to our magnificent grounds staff.

Congrats to Tony Broome (+1) winning the PAR EVENT on a countback from Greg Stevens (+1). Good to see old farts holding their own.
Not far behind with balls down the line were Deon Scott (even) and Rick Harrison, Steve Robinson and Marvellous Merv Lowing (-1).
NTP’s went to Ellis Stevens, (2nd), A. Savage (B’dale) (8th), Les Joiner (10th) and Greg Stevens (12th)
Meat tray / Vouchers were won by Garry Carr (in the hole on #9!) and Ron Dooley on 17.
