It’s back! The 2025/2026 Pathways Program with ‘Team Shea’ will be held at the Orange Hockey Complex on Tuesday nights 4:30-6pm from tomorrow night.

This wildly successful program, endorsed by Orange Hockey Inc and supported by Hockey NSW aims to provide off-season development opportunities for players (U14-U18), coaches, umpires and other interested people at home in Orange.

The key objective of the program is to provide a fun learning environment for hockey development. In line with Hockey Australia and Hockey NSW, we are embracing the principes of ‘Safe Hockey’ including – “treating everyone with respect regardless of differences”.

🍊🏑Unsung heroes of OHI 🏑🍊

Over the weekend Indoor Hockey Orange have hosted the Hockey NSW Under 14s State Championships at the PCYC.
And as always, these two incredible humans show up and contribute hours upon hours for our community.

Both celebrated special milestone birthdays this year, but their spiritely age never stops them from putting their Orange shirts on and helping out!
55 Teams from across the state, over 4 days. Over 1000 sangas sold at the BBQ. Our incredible parents, committee members and players volunteering, with the help of these two OHI life members, to raise thousands to benefit Orange Hockey.

The Orange 1 girls team had a brilliant weekend in Division 1 at the Hockey NSW Indoor State Championships.

The girls were led by coaches Jordan and Cass, and supported by Manager Jen.
A loss in the first game gave the girls the fire in the belly to take 3 wins in the remaining round games. They came up against the very strong NSB team in the Semi and unfortunately went down, with NSB going on to win the tournament.
We look forward to seeing the girls come back strong in 2026.

Incredible work Orange 2!

Orange 2 had a great weekend of competitive development in Division 2 at the Hockey NSW Indoor State Championships.

The girls were guided by their coaches James and Pete, and came away with two wins and two losses in the round games, narrowly missing out on a finals berth on for and against. The girls finished 7th after going down to a very strong Parkes crew this morning, but we are super proud of this team, with many only just beginning their indoor journey.
Manager Bec, along with the coaches gave Most Improved to Demi Ellice, and Player of the tournament to Grace Lingier.

🍊🏑Volunteers needed 🏑🍊

Once again Indoor Hockey Orange are fortunate enough to be hosting the Hockey NSW Indoor State Championships, with the Under 14s less than a fortnight away, and the 16s in late November.

We are seeking willing volunteers to come along and help with the many duties required to make this event successful, and raise funds for our Association.

We also encourage people to come along and cheer on the many Orange players and Officials who will be representing at the Championships. The draw is usually released one week prior.
