🥎 Calling all men aged 35+! 🧡🖤

Are you interested in playing Masters softball?

We’re starting up the Western Wombats Men’s Masters team and are keen to hear from anyone who would like to get involved.

This opportunity is open to more than just ODSA members. We’re already pleased to have players joining us from Dubbo, and we’d love to hear from anyone across the region who is keen to play.

There are a number of tournaments held throughout the year, with planning currently underway to enter a team in the Mouldy Oldies Tournament at Campbelltown on 18–19 April.

If you’re interested in pulling on the glove again — whether for this upcoming tournament or future events — get in touch!

Players will need to hold a Softball NSW membership (or be willing to obtain one).

Wishing Seb all the best as he prepares to represent with Team NSW Sky at the U14 National Championships at Hawker (ACT) this week!

While weather delays have pushed the start back to Wednesday, there was no wiping the smile off his face when he received his playing shirt last night — and we absolutely love to see it.

What an incredible opportunity to represent at this level. We’re so proud of you, Seb, and hope the weather clears so you can get out there and enjoy every moment.

What an exciting weekend we have coming up.

See you all Friday night, let’s head down and kick the softball weekend and indigenous round off together and cheer on our B grade team plying.

🖤🧡 UPDATE: Indigenous Round begins 5:15pm Friday night! 🧡🖤 🥎

Our Indigenous Round celebrations will include something special on Friday night for B Grade.

At 5:15pm, we will gather for a special Acknowledgement and Indigenous dance performance, helping set the tone for a weekend of celebrating culture, community, and connection.

If you’re around Friday evening, make sure you come down a little early to take this in — it’s a wonderful opportunity to share in something really meaningful together.

We can’t wait to continue the celebrations across the full day on Saturday as well.

🟣 International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women 🟣

This weekend, ODSA will again stand together to acknowledge the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women.

On Friday 28th and Saturday 29th November, we’ll be holding a Purple Round to raise awareness and funds for domestic violence prevention — an issue that is deeply important to our community.

🟣 Wear purple.
🟣 Donate if you can.
🟣 Show your support for a safer future for women and families.

Small actions make a big difference when we stand united.
