To the tennis community and Friends of the late Kevin Firman

We are having a back to Strathfield Rec (Tennis ) Club day to celebrate the life and times of our friend and tennis mate, Kevin Firman, affectionately known as the Fir.

When: Saturday 9 September 2023
Time: 3.00pm onward.

We will try to book a couple of courts if anyone wants a hit.

The bar will be open as will the bistro if anyone would like to eat.

Please feel free to bring family and friends and forward the invite to anyone who may be interested in coming.

RSVP’s are not necessary, though if you could please indicate your interest, so we can ensure we have enough space set aside.

We hope you can make the day.

Updated information...

It is with great sadness that we share the news of Murphy, Kevin's beloved Border Collie.

Murphy failed to recover from multiple seizures in the last few days.
The Vet felt his condition was terminal, a possible brain mass.

He went to sleep peacefully late Wednesday 26th July...on Kevin's birthday.

They are together again.

Funeral Details

The funeral for Kevin John Firman will be held at 1pm, Wednesday 2nd August 2023, in the Chapel at Orange Funerals, 1 Cameron Place, Orange NSW.

Followed by burial at Orange General Cemetery (Non Denominational lawn section), 253 Lone Pine Avenue, Orange NSW.

Kevin passed away on 17th July, 2023.

Thank you to all his friends, for your support of Kevin in his coaching career over so many years.

Funeral arrangements will be posted here in due course.
