Great turn up for the last a few weeks of social volleyball sessions. It is fantastic to see that volleyball is popular among young generations and now it's growing in Orange.

However, due to the very limited indoor-court availability in Orange, now we need to stop taking any more new people for the social sessions we organize.
We feel sad and sorry, but the capacity is now overfull with the single court availability at the PCYC Orange for volleyball use. (no other availability at all, even on any other days of after school hours.)

I'll stop weekly notices on this FB, for a while, until we can book/use more indoor-courts in Orange.

The sessions are still on, as I previously posted here, during term 2 & 3.

Everyone who attended to our previous sessions even once, and paid the sharing court hire fees, are still very welcome to join the sessions.

I sincerely hope PCYC and OCC can help this volleyball group formed by young people (formed by enthusiastic high school students around 6 years ago) and more young people who wish to start/learn volleyball in Orange, with prioritizing the stadium availability for young generations more.

Once PCYC Orange allows us to book/use more volleyball courts, we can accommodate more youth and jouniors.

Social Volleyball is on tomorrow, Friday 22nd May, 5-7:30pm.

Payment is $10/person to me, by cash or bank transfer, to share the court hire fees which we need to pay to PCYC.

As PCYC does not run these volleyball sessions, no card-payment is acceptable, for playing volleyball at the counter.
However, please note that whoever use the PCYC facilities need to be a PCYC memeber, so please sign-in each time before you come down to the PCYC indoor-stadium. (Please ask PCYC staff about membership fees)

If many people turn up, we will split the session by levels.

Beginners' training/warm up 5-5:30pm,
Beginner friendly mixed games 5:30-6:30pm,
Mixed level games 6:30-7:10pm
Experienced only (hard hit) games 7:10-7:30pm.

Also, as we can hire out 1 indoor-court only, if many people turn up, we may be not able to accept late arrivals after 6pm. As we try everyone to play at least 3 (single-set) games.

Please note below,
It was great turn up of young people/high schoolers last a few weeks.
We (Orange City Volleyball Club members) are keep requesting to Orange PCYC to hire out more indoor-courts for volleyball, to accept more young/begnner people, however unfortunatly the request is not granted due to the indoor-court shortage in Orange.

We are also requesting to PCYC Orange to run a volleyball competition (like currently PCYC Orange runs pickleball comp for adult/senior members, with 2 indoor-courts every Friday nights), but the request is not granted either.

Social volleyball is on tomorrow, Friday 15th Friday, 5-7:30pm.

Cost is $10 person, payable to me to share the court hire fees, which we need to pay to PCYC.

If many beginners/learners turn up, we will split the session to levels.
(We'll try to let everyone play at least 3 games.)

Beginners training, warm up & a beginners game at start, till 5:40ish.
Mixed level games 5:40 - 7:10pm.
Experienced game/s (max 16ppl) 7:10-7:30pm.

Payment is to me $10/person, to share the court hire fees which we need to pay to the PCYC.

Beginners session is up to 5:45pm (training + 1 beginner friendly game).
Mixed level games 5:45pm to 7pm.
Experienced game/s (max 16ppl) 7 - 7:30pm.

Social volleyball is on tomorrow, Friday 1st May, 5pm - 7:30pm, at PCYC Orange.

Beginners are welcome. However if many people (beginners) turn up, we will split the session by levels as below. (So beginer session will be for 1 hour only).

5-6pm beginners training/warm-up and a beginner friendly game (or two),
6-7pm mixed level social games,
7-7:30pm experienced players only (max 16 players).

Please note that we are requesting to PCYC Orange to hire out more indoor-court (or time) to us, to accomodate more young and beginner people for volleyball. However it's not successful yet, due to an indoor-court shortage in Orange.

Cost are $10 per person, payable to me to share the court hire fees, which we need to pay PCYC Orange.
Although these volleyball sessions are not run by PCYC, whoever use PCYC facilities need to be a PCYC member. Please check with PCYC staff about the membership cost.

No volleyball session this week, as PCYC Orange closes for public holidays.

Sessions during this School Holiday are:
Friday 10th April, 5-7pm
Friday 17th April, 5-7pm
Orange.

Cost: $10 per person, please pay to Chloe (as I'll be away) to share the court hire fees.

Please note, these sessions are not run by PCYC, but whoever use the PCYC facilities should be a PCYC member. Please ask aboout membership fees to PCYC staff.

Also pease note, these sessions are organised and run voluntarily, so please help to set up and to pack up the net and equipments. Also please do not forget to pay the $10 to the volleyball club. Whoever forgot to pay for the last a few weeks sessions, please pay now.

Social volleyball (mixed game) session is on FRIDAY this week.

Fri 27th March 5-7pm ay PCYC Orange.

Cost is $10 per person payable to me, to share the court hire fees (which we pay to PCYC.)

Please note this group is not run by PCYC. However to use the PCYC stadium everyone should be a PCYC member. Please ask about membership fees to PCYC.

Two volleyball sessions are on this Saturday, 21st March, at PCYC Orange.

Session One, 11:30am - 12:30pm.
Training session for beginners and leaners.
Cost $10 per person (payable to me), to share the court hire fees, which we need to pay to PCYC.
Plus you should be a PCYC member. Please ask PCYC staff for the annual membership cost (but I believe around $20 for Jouniors' annual membership.)

Session Two: 12:30 - 2:30pm.
Social Game Session (Mixed team and meixed level)
Cost: $10 person to me, to share the court hire fees, which we need to pay to PCYC.
(Or, beginners or leaners who wish to stay for games, after the training session: $5)
