US COLLEGE STAR TO COACH AT
NEXT GEN GIRLS PROGRAM

Commences Wednesday 20 May
Register Now!!!

Florida Atlantic Div.1 College player Manuela Piljevic will be just one of a number of guest coaches at the Next Gen Girls Program commencing Wednesday 20 May at Eagle Vale Sports High School.

Manuela grew up in Wollongong and prior to moving to take up a basketball scholarship in the USA she played for the Sutherland Sharks and was selected to represent Serbia in the FIBA U20 EuroBasket Championship in 2024 and 2025.

The Next Gen Girls Program will run for 7 weeks. The advanced training program is targeted at girls that currently play competition basketball.

The program will be run on Wednesday afternoons at Eagle Vale Sports High School from 4.20pm commencing 20 May.

Regular coaches will be John Hennessy and Matthew McKenna with a number of guest coaches during the program.

FEES:
The cost for this program is just $105 for the 7 weeks.

WINTER LADIES COMPETITION

SUNDAY COMPETITION

A reminder our Sunday Open Ladies Winter season will commence next Sunday 3 May. All games are played at the fantastic 2 court indoor stadium at Oran Park High School.

Games are generally played at 6.30 & 7.15pm each Sunday evening.

We will also be able to allocate individuals looking to join a team.

FEES:
The game fees for the ladies competition are just $1200 per team for the full season. We provide refs, a scorer and online scoring. And we hope everyone enjoys the friendly environment.

Team Entry:
$100 to enter your team. This is paid online by team manager.

Team Game Fees:
Just $1200 for the season (15 week season).
Individual Registration is $15 per player.

NBL Championship Player Lucas Walker will head the One Macarthur Basketball Camp during the April School Holidays.

A 10 year veteran of the NBL, Lucas played a major role with the Perth Wildcats in their 2017 Championship.

He also played NBL with Sydney, Melbourne, Cairns and Adelaide. Lucas also won a gold medal for Australia at the 2018 Commonwealth Games.

Since retiring from the NBL Lucas has dedicated his time as an outstanding junior basketball coach in the Illawarra through his Good Hoops program.

There are limited spaces available for the camp so get in early.

NEW TRAINING DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMS

One Macarthur Basketball is excited to announce our new player development programs for term 2. Our new structure will see programs delivered at Minto, Oran Park (through Roar) and at Eagle Vale. All our programs will be under the new Macarthur Basketball Institute framework.

We have developed a very simple booking method with all programs booked through our PlayHQ portal.

PROGRAMS:
We will continue to run many of our very popular programs plus we will now offer some additional development opportunities including an expanded Play & Train program and a girls only program. In addition we will have an Next Gen Hoops program (by invitation) in a number of age groups.

VENUES:
We will continue to run our programs at Minto Indoor Sports Centre and at Oran Park High School (through Roar) plus we will now offer programs at Eagle Vale Sports High School.

ROAR Basketball will commence the 2026 Winter Junior Season on Friday 24 April.

Played predominantly at Oran Park with other venues in the Mt Annan and Camden area.

This is the largest junior competition in the Camden, Liverpool & Macarthur area, offering multiple divisions for boys and girls aged 6 to 19 years of age.

We offer great value for a great price and our competition is widely considered #1 in South West Sydney.

Our competitions cater for various experience levels from beginner to the rep level player. We offer 2 to 3 divisions in most of our age groups.
