Phil dominated the weekend and broke the lap record not once but three times on Sunday in the one race with a 1.05.7848. Congratulations Phil 👏

Viney start rear of field on Sunday and soon moved up to 2nd position however this was short lived and he was a DNF in Race 4 and unfortunately didnt make the last double point race.

Shaun and Brad took home the $60 Bursons voucher and Shaun had a PB with his 2nd place podium.

Number are low but its still great racing.

Thanks also to the Hyundai Excel Racing Tasmania for being accommodating and sharing the track without incident.

It was a cold wintery 🥶weekend at Symmons Plains for Round 3 of the Tasmanian Circuit Racing Championship which also included the Ian Beechey Memorial Handicap Race.

Heavy rainfall🌧️ Saturday night made the 1st race interesting with water still on the track .

Overall weekend results are:
Phil Ashlin 🥇
Anthony Viney 🥈
Neville Rattray🥉

Congratulations to Wayne Nichols for his win 🏆in the Ian Beechey Memorial Handicap Race.

A special mention to Phil for his achievement of 150 race wins this weekend 🥇- a great result

Thanks also to Bursons for their donation of vouchers which were won by Wayne Nichols and Shaun Hughes.

What a weekend!!

The weather certainly turned it on over the two days.

Saturday was scorching on and off track temperatures 🔥 and Sunday was rain 🌨 wind 🌪and hail 🌀 just to make things interesting 😀

We welcomed back Bird and Toth which always makes for great racing.

End result was Phil Ashlin, Toth and Viney taking out the weekend. Well done guys 👏

Also good to see Shaun dicing it with Bird and Neville, this is going to be a great season.

Round 2 is Symmons Plains 21-22 March, hoping Derek and Sam Percy can join us

Thanks Ashlin Motorsport . Here is the program for this weekend for the last TCRC Round.

Phil Ashlin starts the meeting 85 points ahead of Viney and Nev follows behind Viney by 4 points.

Points are up for 5 races and qualy this weekend so it really could come down to the wire.

The Laurie Kelly Memorial Handicap will be a great one to watch on Sunday. We all love a handicap race to make things interesting and thanks to American V Twin Motorcycles for sponsoring the handicap race.

Baskerville Historics done and dusted. Another great day of racing in warm temperatures🌡

Unfortunately Sam, Brad Hughes and Shaun Hughes had their own track moments in different races but overall it was a great weekend with minimal damage.

Ashlin, Andrew and Neville took out podium results.

Our final meeting is back at Baskerville in early December.

Historics at Baskerville and true to form its been great racing.

The last race saw Ashlin Motorsport keep the lead over Andrew Toth .

The excitement of the race was brothers Shaun and Brad Hughes competing for a position. All ended well but Hughes mum had a heart failure 😆

We are back on track 2moro early with perfect weather forecast🌞

The Historics is a fantastic event and is well supported by spectators
