End of Practice Day at Basky, well never boring that 's for sure 😊.
The car was mint , until i got behind the wheel , as always I broke it, the idler pulley went exit stage left , snapped the belt and lost the bolts.
The wonderful vollies found the pulley and thanks to Troy Wood we were able to source some bolts. The awesome 7RD Krew jumped in and had it sorted like a F1 pit crew! 💚
Otherwise the car ran like a dream, Nigel, Owen Clarke and Matthew, spent some time knocking the rust off and settling in 'to the groove of consistency.
Super impressed by all 3 and their skills on track, myself was all over rhe shop and struggled with being consistent, new day tomorrow so will see how im going 🙏🤷‍♂️.
Can't thank Poppy, Scott and Paulette Clarke enough for sorting out our timing display and recording our lap times, also for jumping on the tools and all the support and encouragement.
Thank you to all the Vollies and officals for today bravo people 💚🙇‍♂️.
Thank you to all drivers and teams for the banter and offers of help.
Been a long day but a fun one, stoked about the car and the othe 3 drivers. I just need to get my head straight and grow a pair .
