Rule 5.06(b)(4)(I):

One base, if the batter becomes a runner on Ball Four or Strike Three, when the pitch passes the catcher and lodges in the umpire’s mask or paraphernalia.

If the batter becomes a runner on a wild pitch which entitles the runners to advance one base, the batter-runner shall be entitled to first base only.

No batter interference at home plate, followed by a “that’s nothing” when the ball rebounds off the umpire, and no runners lane violation when the balls is thrown past first base.

Congratulations to Oliver Thacker on a successful Australian Little League Championships campaign, and his appointment at second base in the Gold Medal final.

Also a congratulations to our travelling umpire, Carla Pinder, on the success of her first campaign at the Little League format.
