Plenty of work to do after another tough day for both teams.
Our women played their first game of the season with a barnstorming try to Sonya Tyrpenou the highlight. Several of our girls played their first game of rugby and should be very proud of their efforts.
Despite the scoreline, our men put in a much improved performance. Down to 14 men for most of the game and further depleted by injuries as the match went on, the boys played with a lot of positive intent that gives us something to build on for the next game.
Thanks to Manning River Ratz Rugby Club for coming out and playing in the spirit of rugby.
We now have two weeks off to nurse some battered bodies before heading up to Gloucester on the 23rd of May.
