MND Officer Big Freeze

A huge night at the Rob Porter Rec Reserve last night for the Officer Big Freeze.

Considering the ordinary weather, a large crowd gathered to enjoy a fun night buying raffle tickets, MND merch, donate and watch as 42 sliders took on the enormous slide set up in the netball car park behind the Eastern Oval goals.

There was even a cross to the Channel 10 News featuring Jordan De Goey (Collingwood).

Several ROC past players took the plunge - they included Jason Hoghton, Laurie Hughes, Paul Corrigan, Greg Tivendale, Gareth Sheean, Brett Owen & Gavin Staindl. Well done to all the sliders!

As it stands the Club has raised nearly $40,000 for MND - what an effort.

Please spare a thought for these poor souls as they face the freezing cold conditions for a great cause. Every donation, big or small, helps make a difference in the fight against Motor Neurone Disease.
