Shelley Andrews Personal Training Personal training focusing on functional and intelligent workouts. I use fit ball/gym balls ,TRX suspension training system, Bosu, weights and body weight.

Improving posture, mobility, muscle tone, strength, fitness, health and mental/emotional wellbeing. I am a 46 year old female who has had children, been 35kgs over weight, had acute and chronic health issues and injuries, all of which has motivated me to seek solutions, training and answers to healing and good health. I am registered with 'Physical Activity Australia', a qualified Functional Train

er, and certified Rehab FX Trainer through 'Kettle Bells Australia'. Working with your health professionals i can support injury recovery, weight loss, improved health, postural correction, increased fitness, muscle tone, stress relief, reduced pain, and increase sense of self power and wellbeing. I use various training equipment;
*some very traditional such as Weights,
*others more dynamic like Kettle Bells and Gym Balls
*and the less traditional yet versatile Suspension Training Straps, BOSU and Rollers

When done correctly personal training is VERY PERSONAL. We are all different and you will need and want something tailored to suit your individual needs and desires. My aim is to support you to feel good in your body.

Clients loving Barre exercises using a chair as a barre, creating long lean muscle whilst burning fat.
It's a more feminine workout !๐Ÿ‘ฏ

Please know I will make your workout suit you, I can make modifications to work with and around injuries not to mention suit your energy or state on the day .

Workouts are in my private gym but the beach is almost at my backdoor,
So if it's beautiful weather and your in the mood we can do outside sessions.๐ŸŒŠ๐ŸŒž

Carob & avocado tart ๐Ÿฎ๐Ÿ˜‹The base- 2/3 cup of raw almonds, 8 medjool dates, finely grated zest & juice of 1/2 a mandarine....

Carob & avocado tart ๐Ÿฎ๐Ÿ˜‹
The base- 2/3 cup of raw almonds, 8 medjool dates, finely grated zest & juice of 1/2 a mandarine.
Filling- 2 avocados, 3 tablespoons of carob powder, 3 tablespoons of coconut sugar, 1 1/2 tablespoons of coconut oil, seeds of a vanilla pod & 1 teaspoon of macca powder.
250g of mixed berries to serve ๐Ÿ“
Method- line a 25cm spring firm cake tin with glad wrap. To make the base combine the almonds & the dates in a food processor & blitz until almost a paste. Add mandarine zest & juice and process into a soft dough. Press into tin.
Combine all filling ingredients into the processor and blend until silky smooth. Spread on top of base.
Freeze for 2 hours and serve with your favorite berries ๐Ÿ˜‹

There's a saying...
"Summer bodies are made in the winter" ๐Ÿ‘™
I think this so true!!!
It's time now to fire up our metabolisms ๐Ÿ”ฅ We can do this by starting the day of with some exercise before breakfast ๐Ÿณ Even a walk to start, maybe then adding in short intervals of running on the days you feel like it, or you want to feel good about yourself ๐Ÿ’—
2nd way to get your metabolic rate up is to increase muscle; muscle burns calories, Even when you sleep ๐Ÿ’ค
And whilst your doing your muscle building exercises you're getting stronger ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿผ
So come the end of winter it will be safer and easier to train hard. Your metabolism will be fired up, and your muscle will eat that layer of fat to reveal the toned body underneath!! ๐Ÿ˜œ
Ok you may need to lessen the calories from carbs to ๐Ÿ˜
But feeling good in our bodies is best present we can give ourselves ๐ŸŽ

With the change of season I think it's safe to say we all crave something nourishing and hearty to start our day ๐Ÿ˜‹
This little bowl of goodness is the perfect post-workout meal.
Try it out yourself this weekend...
----------------------------------------------
- Oats in 1/4 cup of boiling water
- 3 tablespoons of Greek yogurt
- A small banana ๐ŸŒ
- A handful of blueberries ๐Ÿ’™
- A sprinkle of nuts and seeds
- A drizzle of raw organic honey ๐Ÿ
- 1 tablespoon of pro-biotic powder

And a green tea to wash it all down โ˜˜
